O love boba
Niko Niko Boba in Southdale Mall is a great spot for boba lovers! I got the Nutella milk tea with pearls, which is my favorite drink here. It's rich, chocolatey, and has plenty of caffeine to keep you energized—almost too much! I made the mistake of having it in the late evening and couldn’t sleep until 2 am. My husband tried the Energizer, which was tasty and surprisingly caffeine-free. He’s very sensitive to caffeine, but he was able to sleep soundly after having it. The drinks here are flavorful, and there’s something for everyone, whether you want a pick-me-up or something relaxing. Highly recommend!
My sisters and I came here, they have a wide variety of options. I had the summer punch tea, 1/2 sweet, with brown sugar boba. It was so good! If I lived in the area I would be here all the time!
Pretty good, I love that you can tell yourself how much sugar to put in the drink, but I got confused and ordered it very sweet ?… the girl's attention was very good.
You will have a good time if you occupy the little tables they have in the center of the mall hallway.

Most of the staff members are great. However owner wouldn’t own up to issues like cups that were 80% full. Milk tea is okay and you can taste that certain teas are watered down. Glad better milk tea places opened up in the southwest metro.
Positive is the seasonal caramel apple milk tea is pretty good.

Boba was so good! Sizes were a bit small though. The place was very very dirty and there were some young kids alone being very loud.
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian because it’s boba.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of alternatives for dietary restrictions
Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible because it was a very small space.

A must if you visit the Edina location. Staff was great and the orders were completed fairly quick considering the line, it moved fast. Good seating area. After the first try, I had to get a repeat for the Mango Green Tea with Mango Popping!
Wheelchair accessibility: Inside the mall, you can park by Macy’s, main level and access it through the mall doors. Wheelchair-friendly.

I loved Chatime and had hoped that Niko Niko would be the same, but unfortunately it isn’t.Their only options for sweetness levels are 100%, 50%, 25%, and 0%. I ordered 50% and it wasn’t sweet enough, but 100% would be too sweet. At Chatime I would get 80% and it was perfect - I wish there was at least a 75% option. I was also disappointed to see that these drinks came with ice as it makes the drink watery and hard to get the remaining boba out of the bottom. This also means you get less drink. Chatime came without ice, and the drink was chilled.Overall I’m pretty disappointed in the change and am going to find another boba spot from now on.
