Their burgers and fries and milkshakes are amazing! However they are a little expensive. The portions are good size so sharing is an option. They are a little pricey. Two of us had lunch and the table was $60. They do have a small parking lot and if that is full I would think parking on the street would be a little difficult in that area. I do recommend this place.

If you are looking for overpriced/ bad food then you hit the jackpot. The best thing I can say about this place is that it brings back nostalgia for old timey diner type places. I just dropped $70 on 2 sandwiches, fries, a salad and a malt. Told my wife that I will never return. That's a promise I will keep.

I've been coming to the Convention Grill since I was born in 1966. I grew up around 46th Zenith and my grandparents lived on Brookside in Edina...so we would go there allot. I was glad to see that they still have the same atmosphere with the same great burgers, fries and cherry coke!

First I have to say that the fries here are so good that sometimes we have even picked them up just to go with a meal we made at home. The burgers and malts are great as well 🙂
What was really exceptional recently was when our delivery driver had clearly eaten one of the burgers out of our order (this was clear from his messages after the fact, lol), the woman we spoke with on the phone at Convention Grill was so kind and helpful that we ended up getting dinner here again a week later.
I also came with my dad recently and I appreciated that they let us hang out for a couple hours without rushing us to order or rushing us out.

Rather expensive. Good burgers, horrible French fries, mediocre service. When I asked the female manager about our horrible fries, she laughed and said that is how they are. Sad to say, I doubt we will be back.
A little pricey for us so won't be able to go as often as we would like. Excellent food.

Meh. Decent food, not really seasoned though. Bun was good, burger was alright. Chili was way too expensive. Same with fries. Fries were darker skin-on, cooked too much fries. Everything was ala cart, so not so inexpensive. There are a lot of other places to spend that amount on a burger and fires and get something better. The atmosphere was kind of fun, but mainly an older crowd. The parking lot is a jacked up situation and no one really knows what's going on.
Great place to go for a burger, fries and a malt! Traditional malt shop atmosphere. Very clean and neat.

I love this place but there's some new weird parking situation. There's qr codes all over to pay for parking in the lot but the website refused to load and I'm not downloading yet ANOTHER app to park in the metro area (i have 4 already!) The signs said you could get validated as a convention grill customer but with the website not working, I'm not taking the chance at getting towed and/or a ticket just for a burger. It's a shame.
