A solid choice for almost any group, the atmosphere is unbeatable, there's private rooms for large groups, the menu leans heavily towards items that are good to share, and the bar and drink selection is top notch. The only negative is that it's overpriced and the food isnt anything to rave about, but you are here for great conversation in cozy surrounds, not to moan into a rich foie gras tarte tatin or take pictures of the decorations on your stemware cocktail glass.

Well crafted menu, seasonally updated, outstanding scratch deserts, great for night out, special occasions or lunch after shopping. Highly recommended

This is my first time writing a review, so please bear with me.

I’ve dined at COV in Minnetonka before, and the food was excellent.. So when I saw they had a location in Edina, I was excited to try it. My friends and I went there to enjoy some mango habanero chicken. As a Liberian we love spicy food. We ordered three trays, expecting the same great experience—but we were completely disappointed.

The chicken was barely warm, and the sauce was not mango habanero. It lacked both heat and seasoning. One of my friends ordered plain chicken wings, and another ordered vinegar wings, but neither tasted right. It honestly felt like the cook called in sick, and whoever was in the kitchen didn’t know how to prepare these dishes properly. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this location.

As for the service, we had two servers. Giau repeatedly called us “my love” and wasn’t very attentive when taking our order, which was frustrating. On the other hand, Michelle did a great job and tried her best to take care of us.

Overall, for the price we paid, the food and service didn’t live up to expectations

Parking: The parking was easy. Not difficult to find.

Hosts and managers Extremely rude. Really have never experienced anything like it. Will never return. Food was over priced average bar food.

LOVE this restaurant! Service is ALWAYS great.
BUT fall menu changes, especially to scallops and shrimp(my ALL time favorite)are POOR!
Cōv is one of the few places that knows how to prepare scallops and shrimp properly but with the currently available accompaniments i will NOT be ordering.

My friend and I got horrible food poisoning after their happy hour. We ordered the sushi and they definitely pre make it and had it sitting out too long.

Food is overly salty and lacks the flavor you would expect for the prices you pay. I had the lobster role and it wasn’t very good. Fries are coated with way too much salts Atmosphere and service is nice.

The atmosphere is very pleasing. We ordered a few drinks, appetizers and dinner. The drinks and appetizer was delicious. The food however isn't good at all. I ordered the salmon. It was perfectly cooked but bland. My husband ordered the chicken and it was very dry. Someone else ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta and it didn't have any flavor. Everything needed salt. Service was good.

Good happy hour. Spendy, but the atmosphere and cocktails are very good.

Corey, the bartender, created an uncomfortable atmosphere for my family and me. His behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional and he handled a situation that came up very poorly. While the rest of the staff were friendly and understanding, Corey’s actions left a negative impression. We won’t be returning.

While the server was very kind, and the drinks were good, they were out of my first 3 choices on the menu. The server was upfront with the first 2 choices being sold out, but when she came back to tell me the 3rd was also out, she didn't bring back the menu. In a hurry, I ended up choosing the salmon, and it was not good. It was cooked well, but it was bland, and the tomato sauce did nothing to complement the salmon itself. My wife ordered the wagyu brisket, and it was nothing special, I would describe it as "fine" which is not what I expect from a $45 plate.
All in all, it is a good space for drinks and maybe an appetizer, but I doubt I'll be back for anything else.

Absolutely horrific Thanksgiving buffet experience today. 4:45 pm reservation. Drinks and hot food cut off at 5:30 exactly. Wall of doors opened up wide (21 degrees for the outside temperature) while the dining room was still relatively full, so they could set things up for the next day. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told that he is busy carrying tables inside!!! That so-called “MANAGER” needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!! $300 with tip for two people and the WORST dining experience of my life. And this review is from a person that dines out almost daily. We will NOT be returning.
