This place deserves a revamp along with every other eating establishment that has stuck around in that food court! The Food has never suffered, the atmosphere and area around it has. Use some of the remodeling money on this food court! Keep the places(Like this Great steak) that stuck around even when it looked like a ghost town!

I remember a time when we would come to Southdale Mall to Great Steak, and it could be 5pm on a Saturday afternoon and they're closed for the day ??I'm super excited to say that while I haven't even tried for a long long time, ( years)There's a not so new owner, who's making it happen for great steak lovers!! He is kind, courteous, he remembers your orders!!!! He works right along side his employees and HE STAYS OPEN HIS POSTED HOURS, AND LATER EVEN???And the food quality is way better since the last time I have been to this location!!!

This place is a hidden gem. There’s not much in the food court so we decided to give it a try and are so glad we did!! Food was fantastic, and service to match. Definitely add their fry seasoning.

Never had food from this place before. But I went every day I was working at mall. They do not disappoint fries hot. Sandwich the flavor was unbelievable made fresh when you ordered.

Stoped in for some lunch super friendly staff, it’s pretty good for mall food I wouldn’t call it great steak if anything it’s ok steak lol

It was very slow at the Center at 430pm on a Tuesday. I entered at the Theater side . Quiet. Walked down , noting my route. A couple if shops not open & not open yet. First floor then up. Restaurants. Went d own & looked at Lucky Brand. Have a nice hobo leather bit of fringe one end. . It will last a while. Went up on other side . Was food court with DQ, Orange Julius, then Asian food.Not recalling others I passed. One closed. On end I found Steak n potato place. Had a baked potato w Philly steak n onions w melted cheese. & a pop. I enjoyed the baker. The Philly meat was hot & good.

LOVE this place, food is amazing! I always go off menu and build my own chicken philly (mayo and tomato on a philly makes no sense to me). You can build your philly with meat, cheese, lettuce, onion, green pepper, black olives, and jalapeno's and it's phenomenal! Their fries are pretty good too but I've never had anything else on their menu.
