Randomly needed up here last night and it was a great spot. The server was great and gave đ„ recommendations. We started with wings which cooked perfectly and the steak tartare which was bomb as well. I got the stroganoff and let me tell you it was a hitter! 10/10 recommend. My friend got the surf and turf which was 10/10 as well. The bananas foster crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e great finish đđœ

The vibe and decor are very cool at this place. The service was great and the cocktails were good. The food was overpriced and the quality was lacking. We had the lobster gnocchi because it came highly recommended. The gnocchi was overcooked and mushy and there was no good lobster meat in it, no claws or tail meat. The stroganoff was good but all the food was overpriced.

Delicious food, great drinks and an elevated vibe. Bourbon selection is ok but used to be more extensive. I really enjoyed the chicken and hanger steak.

Came here for my birthday and had an unbelievable experience! We ordered brussel sprouts, lobster gnocchi, and the hanger steak. We had drinks with dinner and a frozen irish coffee after and everything was exceptional. On top of this, Keith went all out on the birthday celebration! Can't recommend enough!

I had an exceptional experience hosting a private company event at Mr. Paulâs. The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the event. The quality of the service and the food were outstanding, highly recommend!

We held our Non-Profit Board of Directors Annual Appreciation Dinner in the beautiful back room early December and the space and experience was amazing! Our group size was 30 and our appetites were large so we enjoyed everything from appetizers during our cocktail hour, and 5 courses of deliciousness! Staff was amazing too! HIGHLY recommend.

Such a great night out while we had family in town. Our table reservation was a little delayed and they were kindly apologetic, and went out of their way with their service with respect for the delay. From Eddie at the bar, to our server, to having the manager swing through a few times to ensure that our meal and service met our standards. Little things go a long way so kudos to their service and team!

We love this place, a gem--a classy, elegant place to go for a special night out. My adult son calls it "church," for the feeling of bliss and the ability to talk and relax in a pampered, treated like royalty; where the manager (Emma Held) greets you with a warm smile by name, and our usual server, Rachel, is attentive, warm, and so gracious you'd think she's known you all your life. There are few if any restaurants in town that provide a white tablecloth, real candle dining experience like Mr. Paul's, with a fun vibe, great people watching, yet quiet enough to talk and listen. The food--fabulous, the drinks divine, easy free parking across the street, in a fun part of Edina. Great for a 70 year old grandfather like me, his almost 40 son, and rivalries of wife and other family who vie for a seat at the table

I donât mind spending $17 on a craft cocktail but finding out they are all batched was a huge disappointment.

Mr Paulâs Supper Club, let me start by saying that 7 of the 8 people in our group thoroughly enjoyed their experience at Mr Paulâs Supper Club. I however, had less than a memorable experience. By the time my food finally arrived at our table my wife and two other people in our group had already concluded their dinner. A simple Filet, medium rare with shrimp, not that difficult of an order. The Filet, ordered medium rare, came out rare to extra rare. Not that I was going to send it back because of the time it had already taken to bring out my food. I had asked the server, only because he said, âthe shrimp are taking extra long to prepareâ do you mind brining out the Filet so I can eat with my friends. Several minutes later he brings me the shrimp and not the Filet stating he was wrong and that the Filet is why itâs taking so long. Needless to say, my Filet finally arrives, I enjoy a rare to extra rare steak and when the bill arrives I notice no compensation for the experience. I speak to the manager, explain my experience and he continues to comp my wifeâs drink. The server states, âwe gave you extra shrimp and the manager believes this is fair compensationâ. I let him know, I didnât ask for the extra shrimp, I didnât eat the extra shrimp.
As we are walking out the manager tries to grab me, by this time my friends and I were ready to conclude our experience at Mr Paulâs Supper Club.
Iâm not posting this because the food was bad. The way and manner in which my order was handled was wrong. If you forgot to put in my order, be honest, let me know, we all make mistakes, say you're sorry, and let me know itâs going to be 15-20 minutes, I can accept that. Donât make up lies or try and cover it up. Provide adequate compensation for the experience I had. Comping my wifeâs $12 drink or whatever it was is not adequate.
Will I go back, will I give them a second chance? Only time will tell.
