Food was average nothing really special about it and I have a seafood allergy so I ordered the birria tacos because that would be safe for me to eat but I’m pretty sure some form of cross contamination happened because my mouth and throat became super itchy so I left and I throw up just moments later after eating. Service wasn’t the best, I had to ask my waitress for a straw multiple times and she seems irritated when she was asked. I honestly wanted to like this place but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We usually visit this place at Club level in the Xcel during Wild games. They have AMAZING tacos. The hot sauce at the end- to die for and you will be dreaming of it days later. We are going to make the trip to Edina to go to their actual brick and mortar. I will say the tacos are very expensive at the Xcel- like $16 or $18 for 2 pork tacos. But we love them so much we still go everytime. Super authentic- love this place❤️

One star off because there wasn’t enough penicilin in the tacos….As per usual….

A go to spot for sure! Tacos are all awesome. Brussel sprouts are so good you’ll forget you’re eating vegetables. Yuca and octopus also great staples. And the drinks are delicious! Always a great meal.

Visited Jan 2024 - It was ok. It was pretty empty but ended up seated right by the kitchen door. Food was hit and miss. The queso fundido was a miss. I knew it was a thicker dip but it was really bland. Needs something to give it some flavor. Drinks were good, tacos are good. Service wasn’t great. Probably won’t go back.

My birthday party was at Pajarito in Saint Paul last week. We had about 25 in attendance. The staff did an excellent job keeping drinks flowing and the food refreshed. They were friendly and easy for my husband to work with on the planning. The food was good and we were able to bring in a cake. Thank you!

My daughter and I had a drink after a cooking class so we didn't have food. Our waitress was awesome but things were definitely overpriced and seemed average at best. I would not go back there on purpose.

My friends & I met here for book club and were able to easily make a reservation for 10 people. The guacamole is amazing and shrimp tacos were also really good! My only bad thing to say is that it took us a very long time to get our cocktails.

One of the few surviving restaurants in the center of 50th and France these days. Pajarito looks great, with a decidedly urban vibe and a welcoming atmosphere. I felt the table service to be its best feature, with our server returning every few minutes with water, coffee, appetizers, or whatever we needed. In fact, her only lapse came at the end, when it took a minute to get her attention for the check so we could make the movie at Edina (across 50th). The food was tasty if not particularly interesting. "Tacos" and "Not Tacos" and "Woodfired" while accurate lacked imagination. I enjoyed the Alambre tacos, which had a nice spicy kick. They were a mess to eat as served with the shell flat on the plate, and I wondered whether a hard shell might have been better. I also heard good but not great about the Octopus dinner. This being Dry January, I did not challenge the bar at all, though it looked well-stocked. Docked one star for parking, which, while free, was a cold 5-minute walk away. All in, I would recommend Pajarito and plan to return.

First of all, the food here has never been good. As a Latino, I’m unimpressed. Considering this is one of the only restaurants in the area that’s open until 11 pm, my family and I were glad to have somewhere to go for a late night drink and snack on a Friday night. It was 9:30 and we discovered the front door was closed. The staff simply ignored us and didn’t attempt to let us in. The sign clearly stated they are open until 11pm. We proceeded to go to the back door and it was open, we had to speed yourselves to a table where the staff was not pleased to see us. We ordered drinks and were constantly pressured to close out. After our second round was delivered, we were told to leave and the lights were turned on. We had full glasses of drinks to finish and it was 10:15pm, not closing time, which was indicated 11. No one communicated to use that they were “closing early because it was cold out” until we paid and still had full glasses. Horrific customer service. I highly advise not coming here. Terrible for Edina 50th and France.

Good happy hour deals and fun, relaxed but still upscale atmosphere. The Birria tacos and shrimp tacos were both delicious. Recommend the Pajarito Margarita (love the hint of orange) or Pineapple Express (a bit sour but love the smoky pineapple flavor).

I really liked McKenna from Saint Paul location who guided us to the best table in the restaurant. It was a day prior to Christmas Eve and still she let us choose from available options. Overall dining experience and food also was good. Our Server Emily was good and we all would go there

Parking can be an issue, but that isn't a reflection on the restaurant. Our server was delightful, and the food was great. It's never too busy at lunchtime when I've been there. Which is odd because it's a great place for lunch.
