Everything was great until the entrees arrived. The steaks were not high quality. The NY strip was undercooked and looked like a week old ribeye from Cub Foods. The fillets were small and overcooked. The cod was also overcooked and dry. This is not acceptable when paying this much money for a high end dinning experience. I doubt we will go back. Which is a shame because we have had good experiences in the past.
Way too loud for a dinner unless you plan a large group of people, where it doesn't really matter
Normally the hamburger is excellent. This time the hamburger was mediocre at best. It was overcooked
I've been to Pittsburgh Blue a handful of times. Every time, service was great. Lots of menu items to choose from and every dish I've had has been delicious.
My salmon was delightful, but my husbands Korean short ribs were not so great. Barely any meat on the bones , and the meat that was on there was not great. We will be back, but he will order something different.
It was a lovely experience. Our table was out in the open and there was a lot of noise. I thought the prices were a little high. Sides were extra. Service was excellent.
This is the first time I have been to Pittsburgh blue. The food was excellent. Our server, Christie was stellar. She made our evening very special. Thank you, Christie.
The food was great, and our server Christy was top notch. She explained the menu for those of us who hadn’t been there before, and she was attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to our requests ( steak sauce, beverage refills, etc…) It was my birthday, and we got a complimentary piece of cake with ice cream. The food is spendy, but very good. We have eaten there a few times, and food and service are consistently good. Nice place to go for a treat.
On 6/11/25 : very slow service. They seemed understaffed. We were at a table, and for a 3+ hour seating the chairs were very uncomfortable.
Food was good, but high priced. I don’t think we will go back any time soon.
I surprised my girlfriend with a cheesecake and plus strawberries on the side. While enjoying the delicious dessert, she discovered mold on the strawberries. Although the cheesecake itself was quite tasty, I expected better quality for over twenty dollars.

Incredible food. Excellent service. Casual elegance.
Best meal and service we've ever had.
Party of 4 last night, May 24, celebrating a birthday! Elizabeth was our server and did we get lucky!!! Elizabeth provided top tier service for us! She described the menu items perfectly and we enjoyed hearing about where the steaks are from! We all had filets and they butterflied mine to be sure it was perfectly cooked! Get the table there loaded mashed potatoes! YUM!! The quality of the filets were really really top notch. They melted in your mouth. The cosmopolitan was one of the best I’ve had! The starter shrimp cocktail was delicious! Elizabeth provided a birthday treat at the end for the birthday guy! With candle! Nice touch!! They were on top of clearing your plates as you finished your courses. Everyone paid close attention to every detail! The ambience was dimly lit and very cozy. We loved EVERYTHING about our experience here last night! Thanks Elizabeth and crew!
We dined during the Kentucky Derby. Very fun atmosphere. Pittsburgh Blue always excels in service and food.
