Not impressed with food variety. It was mainly salad related. Not main course. Why offer pizza when there was only 2 choices.

There's a great selection and variety of food in addition to the salad bar (e.g. pizza and other hot foods like chicken, beef) as well as dessert and beverages. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. I met a friend there and we were there for a few hours catching up and the staff never made us rush or feel like they wanted us to leave earlier.

Nothing fancy, but clean, great service and amazing food. Their focus is on their massive salad bar, but their hot food is really good as well. Everything is always so fresh. And they have dessert.

As a buffet, it's pretty good. Nice size salad bar (which I didn't actually take any lettuce salad), yogurt? (I forgot to check one area that looked like it had it), fruit, soup, hot food [which changes daily and is shown on their website]. I'm guessing they have more desserts than cookies (I didn't really look for any).
I tried it on a Wednesday. Lunch was $18.75 cash? I think it's a dollar more to use a card.
Everything was clean and appeared fresh. The food I had tasted good.
*The pizza was a little dry.
*The first piece of chicken lasagna was really good, having a large second piece kind of ruined it for me - I'd stick to just one piece.
*The fried rice was the only thing I had I didn't care for.
*The meat balls and chicken were really good.
The service is good. The waitress was friendly and brought out extra water when mine was getting low. She cleared my used dishes quickly.

Q. Cumbers is THE spot to come to for a wide variety of great hot foods and boasts the largest salad bar in the state! Their homemade chocolate chip cookies are to die for!

If you’ve ever wondered what purgatory would look like if it had a sneeze guard, this is it. This all-you-can-eat “experience” sits proudly in the heart of wealthy Edina, like a cruel social experiment proving that money truly can’t buy taste, but it can buy unlimited soggy breadsticks.
The first red flag greets you before the food does: three separate signs warning patrons not to waste food, not to steal food, and not to let their children take too much fruit. Nothing says “fine dining” like being scolded before you’ve even reached the salad bar. You start to suspect those signs are less about morality and more about survival strategy.
If you’re not obese, elderly, or both, prepare to feel out of place. This buffet is less “family dining” and more “post-retirement feeding trough.” The ambiance is fluorescent despair, the soundtrack is one of sterile jazz, and the carpet’s seen more sauce spills than a toddler’s birthday.
But the true adventure begins when nature calls. The bathrooms are located at the end of a hallway so long it should have mile markers. Once you arrive, you’ll find filth that can only be described as “archaeological.” The men’s faucet doesn’t work, perhaps to save water, or maybe just to maintain consistency with the restaurant’s “don’t waste” philosophy.
By the time you stagger back to your table, you’ll be sweating from the hike, clutching your stomach, and wondering if that sign about not stealing food also applies to your will to live.
Come hungry, leave humbled.

Yummy buffet
My experience was horrible! !!!! I have lymphocytic esophageitis where my throat tends to close up, and I was choking after I took 2 bites. So one of the waitresses gave us a box so that I could just take the rest home while 1 of the other waitresses complained about it, and they all saw me choking and turning blue. So then they ran and got management, who said, well, I could take it home if I pay again, okay.Well, I already paid to eat and I didn't get to eat anything because of my stupid disease.I will not be returning here ever!!!
We love this buffet! The food is always tasty, there’s so much to choose from, and it’s super easy for everyone to find something they like. The staff is always nice and the place feels clean and welcoming. We’ve gone here plenty of times and it never disappoints. Definitely our go-to spot when we’re craving a good buffet!
