Well, the sushi is not bad. We ordered three different Sushies (Mexican, Cherry Blossoms, angry Emily) and two Nigiris salmon and shrimp. The Nigiris were horrible, low-quality Wasabi, which they had a lot for the Nigiri. The shrimp and Salmon were dry and simple, with no soy sauce. I want to say the sushi is similar to Billy's sushi but cheaper. It was too simple for my taste. So far, Cubble House and Kado No Mise have the best sushi in Minneapolis and surrounding areas. The service was ok, but the food took forever, and the place had 2 tables. One waiter and one cook. It is next to a gym, so you must check in with them before going to the restaurant. We paid around $110 for two no drinks.
Tim is the man!
Good service, sushi is always fresh and good portions.

Great place to be honest! They should open it to the public, maybe?I love sushi in general and I can definitely say these are great quality. My taste bud lean more towards the healthy side. So If you’re looking for something like that? I’d recommend it.

Tim and Christina are fabulous! Great sushi!
It’s inside Lifetime, I love it! The angry Emily is in the picture. No gym membership needed, door will check ID.

Everything I’ve eaten here is always 10/10 and the service is awesome too! Rare has quickly turned in to my go-to sushi spot!
Our group seemed to like it.
The sushi are good, but for a lifetime location it should be the best (i.e., 3.5 for quality). The service is good (i.e., 5 star). Comfortable place and some cool decor, but again for a lifetime quality it should be one of the best (i.e., 3.0). Overall being that it is considered “the best lifetime in the twin cities” I’d expect it to be a better overall experience. I guess I expected this place to be superior to other which came to the disappointment. It is a good place, just doesn’t meet the standard of other location in comparison. There are much better places than this sushi place if you love sushi and the experience that comes with it (i.e., 3 star comparison).
I probably eat here too much because it's so convenient and delicious.

Love this place awesome sushi.Chano is an exceptional sushi artist
This place is amazing the sushi is delicious! The employees are great. They learn your names and welcome you personally every time you do in there. Jamie, Tim and Chano helped us tonight and they were fantastic. I love coming for happy hour
Why is the best Sushi in Minnesota located in a gym? Because when you want the best, pay for the best, you get the best. With Christina heading up the front of the house Hero & Chano as your Itamae you know things are going to be good. The Sushi and the experience is awesome. Great atmosphere to chill after hitting the weights. Lifetime has it all and it's all the best.

Definitely NOT the best sushi in Minneapolis! It’s good maybe for the happy hour price but their speciality roles are a little bland, as much as I wanted to like them. Edamame is disgusting, unless you like it raw and soaked in oil, then by all means gorge yourself. The atmosphere and service is really good. Would recommend if you are in the area during happy hour.
