The last 2 times we have come it has been disappointing. The first time (we were a table of 4) and my food arrived a very long time after everyone else’s. I ended up getting my food when everyone else had finished and plates were stacked up. The server apologized once for the wait that was it. The second time (today) we were a table of 6 (4 adults and two kids). Both of my kids orders were wrong but it was a pretty easy fix, my husband never got a drink refill, we never got bread until after our meal came and we asked for it, and to top it all off right after we paid we were about to leave (it had only been maybe two minutes since he brought our card back) and the waiter came over and said “I’m heading out of here now I need to get the bill please”. So my mom had to fill it out and sign it with him standing over her. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I used to work as a server and was always trained you either wait a respectable amount of time for your last table to leave (atleast 15 min) or you ask a manager to approach and make it professional. Sad to see this place go so down hill.
Then the icing on the cake was as we were leaving I was holding both of my kids hands and trying to get through the door and maneuver through crowds. An employee leaving was right behind me and cut around us to get out the door in front of us and let it slam behind him nearly hitting my 5 year old. It’s pretty obvious we will not be returning.

Ive have been going to this southdale/Edina location for 25 years since they first opened. They quality of food, the portions have gone way down while the prices have gone way up. The staff is not as friendly as they used to be. The famous menu- they had a Thanksgiving day sandwich which was taken off because they couldn't get it fresh turkey. The slices of cheesecake get thinner and thinner and make expensive. I'll find a different place . Enough already.

I waited 2 days to write a review because I wanted to calm down. First and foremost, this isn't the place to order a steak. I gave 3 stars for the food because I ordered the chicken Madeira and steak combo (25.95). The chef didn't allow the chicken to rest so it was a chewy gummy mess. I asked for medium well and got well done for my steak. The meal comes with a heaping portion of mashed potatoes, I assume to compensate for the awful meat options. The only redeeming quality was obviously the cheesecake and the appetizers. For apps we had the chili shrimp and the chicken pot stickers. Those were delicious. I just want to note, I've come here many times and tried the entrees and they are always a disappointment. From now on, I'll stick to the apps and dessert.

Coming from Canada we don't have a lot of cheese cake factory so this was a new one for me! All I can say is....we dinned in 4 times in just over a week 😂 The Impossible burger is soooooooooo good, the gluten free bun is perfect, it doesn't crumble and it's so big and delicious. The patty itself was also amazing, I ordered it multiple times. Their fries here are also gluten free and were DELICIOUS!!!!! A tad too much salt but sooooo good.
For those looking for pasta, the gluten free substitutes were really well done! I tried the Four cheese gf pasta and it was really really good. There are not a lot of options for gf cheese cake but the dietary less sugar menu has a few that were just as delicious! I ordered twice hehe.
Definitely recommend! Will be back.
The only suggestions I would have would be to rebrand the menus, they look very childish considering the price of food and quality of meals. Could definitely match the vibe a bit better.

A little pricey but the dining room is amazing. Service was prompt and adequate, considering the size of the dining room the food came in a reasonable amount of time. Had the pineapple shrimp and chicken. Snappy and flavorful. Fresh white and wheat baguettes with butter brought to the table right away.
This used to be our favorite location to come to but we have now come twice within the last 1 - 1 1/2 week and it was horrible. Both times I had things missing from my order that a server forgot to ring in. The first time our food took about 35 minutes to come out for two basic dishes, the manager gave us a free cheesecake which was nice so we decided to try again tonight but once again had a horrible experience. Food tasted as if it was sitting under a heat lamp, missing my app, drinks didn’t come out until our food was already ate, and asked for ranch a few times but never came. Definitely won’t be returning to this location for a while, which is disappointing as it once was our favorite!

I really want to give a better review but I have eaten here several times and I am always disappointed in the actual food. Its nothing to brag about. Thier menu is so extensive that thier meals are just mediocre. They would be better off specializing in a few things rather then trying to make 50 dishes mediocre. I had the meatloaf dinner and it was cold and mushy and tasted terrible so I sent it back and they took it off my bill. Normally I would me make it work but this was too far gone. Having said all this I wouldn't hesitate to have any of thier desserts this is thier jam. The desserts are fabulous. From now on I will only go there for dessert if I ever go back. The waiter was great he gave is good service.
