We grew up in Ely, haven't been back in years. Made a trip there today, to eat here. Still doesn't disappoint. Huge portions, fantastic service, food is phenomenal! We will be back. So nice to see nothing had changed. Two thumbs up, Five huge stars!!!!

Didn’t wait very long given the peak time we arrived. Atmosphere was northwoods friendly…just as it should be in Ely.
When the waitress set the food down for the guy sitting next to me I thought it was a “family style” order for the four of us sitting in a row at the counter. Huge portions!!!
When my Corned Beef Hash came along with delectably crispy brown hash browns the quality of the food was well demonstrated.
The waitress was very nice and chatted a bit about the owner and the gals who worked there.
I hate to rave about it and make it busier but, if you’re in Ely, make it a stop!!! They will address your appetite and deserve your business.

The ham in my omelette was pulverized ham. I've never experienced anything like that, but I couldn't get over the idea that the texture seemed as though it had already been chewed.
