I stopped at Ely DQ for a quick lunch to go. The lady working Drive through, Amanda, was very polite and friendly. She even noticed something wrong with my order and had the cook fix it before giving me my food, which I appreciate, as I often have to return for missing or wrong orders being on specialized diet with some allergies and sensitivities, but she was on the ball. Kudos to Amanda for actually paying attention to her customers!
Probably the most iconic food place in Ely!!! It's one of if not they only fast food in town so whether you are heading in or out of the BWCA or looking for a quick meal, this will probably be your place.
I was at the Dairy Queen. And they got my order wrong. And I call to tell them and the person on the phone was very nice. And he said he was very sorry about the situation. He was very kind and very polite. I think he said his name was Swayer . I was very happy with the conversation I had with him . And he was very nice to me. I think he should get a reward for his good deeds. It was one of my family that told me about this situation
