Came up from Hibbing to Ely and watched my Brother's Band play at Dee's Bar ...Been here a few times now and every time I enjoyed myself!!! Super fun time, bartenders are spectacular. People are very nice and they have great taste in music and I especially Love the Halloween Costumes this year ..My daughter and I dressed as scarecrows and took 2nd place and won a hundred bucks!!! Worth the drive and can't wait till my next visit!!!

The owner of this bar is the most impersonal, unprofessional, rude lady you’ll ever meet. There’s a group of 10-12 of us who come through annually and she’s rude every time we have interactions with her. Today we tried making conversation and she said she don’t care where we are from because we are all tourists and it don’t matter. Her bartenders are inexperienced and not knowledgeable about drinks, but pleasant. There’s music, pool tables, and darts, but there isn’t any room to play any of them. We decided today that we won’t be coming back to this rude lady’s bar in the future. And she don’t care, she has more tourists.

Only had a chance to stick my head in this place briefly but this looks like a great little dive bar with everything you'd need. (except for food... which is what we were looking for at that particular moment). I'll for sure be back to saddle up to the bar and get a good feel for the place.

A pub to put all pubs to rest. A lovely atmosphere, friendly crowd and affordable drinks. When driving many miles on the road in search of a place to just simply crack a cold one sit back and enjoy some friendly banters, dee's is the perfect place. If one could imagine the perfect divebar dee's would be as close as you can get.
Cool little spot with a friendly bar, pool table and tons of good MOJO ? Especially liked the Pigs Eye sing hanging out back.

It's the bar that time forgot in the town that time stopped looking for about 20 years ago. It's a friendly place, seems like a locals hangout but a very welcoming atmosphere. Great place to go when depression strikes and you want to be surrounded by something worse.
