A road trip from Duluth for my birthday. Had not been to the Frisky Otter before, highly recommend the Sunday special is BQ ribs. Fantastic!! Some of the best I have ever had.

The food was pretty tasty. I think I would rate it just above bar and grill Fair. It was a little pricey for my tastes, family of five and we got out of there after spending like $ $110 before tip but I did buy a couple beers. And we are in Ely Minnesota for crying out loud, so I don't know where the get the groceries from, but everything up here is a little bit more expensive.
Service was great, super attentive. I didn't have to want for anything. And the food came out pretty quick which is great cuz we were starving.

I’ve tried this place A couple times with guests. Always hoping for better, but it’s always a disappointment. Food usually arrives barely warm if not cold. Not sure if it’s because of the cook or it’s sitting out waiting to be delivered. Usually takes a long time to get an order in and returned.
Staff comes in very outgoing. But then you constantly have to remind them what you ordered to bring your food and to bring the bill in a timely manner.
As I said, disappointed again. But will probably try to bring visiting guest at another time. Hope they try to do better.

I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was super dry. My daughter had Mac and cheese and parts of her food were rock hard and unedible. On top of that prices are very high.

It was ok, after reading the reviews we chose this place to have a good meal, we were disappointed. Kinda spendy for what you get. Boom boom shrimp, lacked shrimp & boom, super bland n $18 for 8 shrimp sucks.

When I first saw the name of this place I was somewhat resolved not to go there. I hated that name. I've been there a few times now, and I have to say their food is some of the best. I normally have the spinach and strawberry salad, but the last time I ordered their smashburger. AMAZINGLY GOOD! I didn't enjoy the din from the TV sets all over the place, making conversation hard. I highly recommend the food and service here.

Really enjoyed our dinner here! They have a great selection of cocktails, and the chicken tenders with french fries was delightful. It does get pretty busy, making it a little hard to hear the person sitting across.

Went To the otter for breakfast and have now decided that I will be attending every weekend…It was hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The cinnamon rolls…are so huge!! The Old timer (sausage, eggs ,cheese,On a bagel bun)!!! is a must try!!! ❤️ Also crispy buttery French toast sticks with maple syrup Also the service was amazing we got our food in minutes super fast! ?
