The food was pretty tasty. I think I would rate it just above bar and grill Fair. It was a little pricey for my tastes, family of five and we got out of there after spending like $ $110 before tip but I did buy a couple beers. And we are in Ely Minnesota for crying out loud, so I don't know where the get the groceries from, but everything up here is a little bit more expensive.

When I first saw the name of this place I was somewhat resolved not to go there. I hated that name. I've been there a few times now, and I have to say their food is some of the best. I normally have the spinach and strawberry salad, but the last time I ordered their smashburger. AMAZINGLY GOOD! I didn't enjoy the din from the TV sets all over the place, making conversation hard. I highly recommend the food and service here.

Had not been to the Frisky Otter before, highly recommend the Sunday special is BQ ribs. Fantastic!! Some of the best I have ever had.
