My accommodation owner suggested this and food lived up to the expectations. Ordered the walleye piccatta with wild rice, mushrooms and green onions as side. The side could have been better. The wild rice is too dry and no seasoning but th fish was yummy. Also ordered the forager burger (sweet potato). It is tasty but the the patty size of sweet potato can be a little bigger/thicker. Hot chocolate was yummy. Service is fast and good. Went in the afternoon after Christmas and there was no wait.

Burgers were saltier than the potato chips. Complained to them. No satisfaction. My wife was unable to the burger. Still paid for whole meal. We will not be returning.

What a wonderful experience! They were able to seat 8 of us within 30 minutes. The vibe was much like the Twin Cities, the food incredible. Service was warm and welcoming. Chicken pot pie was divine, club sandwich was ridiculous and the turtle cheese cake was insane!

Poor service, no refills, no condiments, had to seek out server for mayo for BLT. BLT not toasted, minimal B. L. T. on the BLT sandwich. Side salad had some lettuce, one slice of tomato and an over abundance of Parmesan cheese. The spicy avocado ranch was very strong on the ranch, tasty but lacked avocado, and spice. Appears to be a pretty classy place but ended up being a dud.

It's been a long time since I've been this impressed with a restaurant anywhere. I highly recommend the pot pie and burgers. You can tell they make their meals from scratch with quality ingredients. Best food option in Ely and it's not close.

If you are skeptical of going because of the prices, dont be! The serving sizes are generous! The walleye sandwiche was well executed! Hand breaded and fresh; flaky and crisp! Hubby got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was hand breaded and moist on the inside. Side salad was a good size and the fries are seasoned! Hit the spot and did not disappoint. Food came out fast but took awhile to get the billed paid.

Food and beverages were great. Place was busy so we sat at the bar. Bartender never stopped by to take our drink or food order. Didn’t even acknowledge us after at least 10 minutes of nothing but sitting there. Thought that was rude and unprofessional. We understand being busy but not being unacknowledged. Finally another staff member said he would take our order and serve us.
