What an awesome small town, local bar! My family travels to Ely once a year for a week-long vacation, where we spend plenty of time in the local bars and restaurants in the evenings. While we enjoy them all, we always find our way back to Samz Place for several visits. This hidden gem has a very warm and welcoming environment with friendly bartenders and locals. The bucket special during the Vikings game was a bonus, and the pizzas are pretty tasty too. We look forward to visiting again next year!
