Last experience I've been here we felt unfriendliness that felt like it came from a place of prejudice. When bringing these concerns of discrimination here the response was apathetic to say the least.
The food was also nothing memorable. I would strongly recommend desserts from Brainstorm and coffee from Log Cabin Drive Thru or Northern Grounds. Much better experience overall.

LOVE the food, love the homemade beverages, love the friendly staff! Earliest coffee available in town, awesome homemade desserts. I am in awe that Sarah and her staff get in at 4am to make all this amazing food from scratch for us every day. I stick to their vegetarian options, but all the sandwiches look so dang mouth-watering they sometimes make me wish I wasn't ? Love having this option in Ely - I take visitors/friends here as often as I can.
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian mainstays that are generally egg-based (and delicious!): the frittata and burrito are the ones I've tried. Rotating sides and soups often include vegetarian or vegan options. Especially try their salads - pasta, vegetable, potato, chickpea/bean, etc.
Wheelchair accessibility: Don't be deceived by the steps up the front & side porches: around the back of the wrap-around porch there is additional parking and a level entry through another customer door into the deli. (North side of the building.)

The team at Sheridan St Deli is phenomenal!! I enjoy most things on the menu, breakfast and lunch. Coffee is great. The homemade ginger ale is nice and refreshing. There are also options for those who are GF or veg.

Wonderful little warm coffee and deli. They have breakfast foods and some sandwiches too. They serve drip coffee and fun coffee drinks, hot chocolate and they have oatmilk substitute. The owner was so nice. We went in when it was close to closing so we grabbed some caramel lattes. You can sit inside, on the porch or in back. They have a private room for you to sit with friends or family. They have a fireplace too. It's really nice out welcoming. There is parking out front on the street, on the side and in back there is wheelchair accessibility. Highly recommend. The coffee was great.
