Service was friendly and accommodating, but really slow. We came in a little before 7 PM with them closing at 8 PM. There were maybe 3 other tables in the place who had already gotten their food. Once we ordered we waited over 40 mins for our food. I can not justify $23 for a common burger and fries. My burger and toppings were pretty burnt, took away from the whole taste of the burger, so it was good, but not great. A CAN of soda they charge $3.50 for.. where most will charge that for fountain drinks with free refills, this is PER can of soda. I love dogs, dont get me wrong, but there should never be dogs free roaming around a cafe going in and out of the kitchen.

Had dinner. They had 55 different burgers available!!! I had the fireside. Best cheeseburger (with mushrooms and Italian sausage) I have had in 5 years!!! Truly delicious. The home made chips were legit amazing too. The server, Chris, was really great. Knew the area very well and was very helpful. Seriously, if you are in Ely, skip the Boathouse and go to Stony Ridge.

Went to the cafe for a 9 person dinner party. Great Service great burgers. Would highly recommend. Everyone in the party agreed that they were the best burgers they'd ever had.

The burgers are amazing! #hiddengem
The food was decent, and the views are great, but the pricing is a problem. Our bill was $120 for 4 basic burger baskets and a kid meal - no drinks.
Great spot for breakfast!

Had a good burger and margarita. Lots of fun combinations of burgers to choose from or make your own. Personally the price is a little steep for what you get. Flavor is good, and the views were amazing.

We love the burger restaurant that is part of the resort. The variety of burgers is vast and it's a quaint, fun place to have a meal when we're in the area.
Burgers are super tasty, too!
We only at breakfast. Seemed like a nice resort, but we did not see inside any cabins or anything. Some monster walleyes on the wall that were caught in Shagawa Lake.
Food & drinks: Great coffee and customer service. We enjoyed our breakfast outside!

We have tried to go to the cafe 3 years in a row on our vacation. Every time we go they are closed even though the hours are posted online saying they are open. We have gone at different times as well. We love this cafe and brag about it to our friends and family but we are sorely disappointed that yet another year has come and we haven’t been able to eat there. I feel that they should update their hours posted so it’s more visible for out of towners to see and plan thier meal
Beers are in cans or bottles with a limited selection. We enjoyed a burger with onions and mushrooms and a chicken sandwich with a blue berry glaze, bacon and blue cheese. Onion rings are mine made and fabulous! Be sure to have a root beer float with Dorothy Molter RB!

Food & drinks: Their homemade chips are like manna from heaven. Seriously, if I could eat only one food for the rest of my life, it would be these chips.
