My company & I had an amazing and beautiful brunch this morning! The online reservation system was super-easy and fast. We were graciously greeted and promptly seated, and our server was very patient--we were talking a lot! Our table had the breakfast pizza topped with soft scrambled eggs (easily could have been 2 portions), a peaches & cream liege waffle that was crisp and fresh and not too sweet, the house bacon, chocolate croissants (so many layers!), and the lobster...
Stopped in here after a week in BWCAW, and breakfast was everything our sodden psyches and wilting bodies needed. After a cup of nicely balanced coffee, a handmade sausage patty, and three bites of perfectly spiced and crispy home fries, we were able to employ basic reasoning skills again. This restaurant should be higher rated. It was so good we went twice in our long weekend trip. Patty melt for lunch was the best I’ve had in a long time. The current French themed dinner was also very good. My husband loved his steak frites. Service was quick even though they were busy.
