Drinks, food and service is excellent! They have a creative menu but some basics for people who want a burger, etc as well. I love sitting outside but the ambience inside is great too!

Shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes and have to get up to ask for a server to take our order. Met with attitude, food was average. Not worthy of the 4.5 stars they have. 3 other couples who were outside had similar experiences.

Coalition is a local restaurant in downtown Excelsior. The food is familiar but with unique twists that make each entree exciting. The restaurant is quaintly situated on the not-to-busy Main Street and surrounded by other shops and restaurants. If the weather is nice, sitting outside lets you soak up the beach-town vibe with a good meal.

The staff was very accommodating when the size of our group shrunk at the last minute. They were very gracious at accepting our sincere apologies. That being said, the food and service were both excellent!!! Thank you!
Vegetarian options: There were so many options that it was difficult for me to decide. I finally selected the black bean soup which was amazing!

Bone marrow, cheese curds, and cheeseburgers were very tasty.
They do have a great kids menu but a patron at the bar was not happy with our children making noise. So… I’d say kid toleratant

We stopped in for a couple drinks and nibbles during happy hour on 4th of July. Nice clean spot with top tier fries. The charred corn salad was presented nicely.
My wife and I had lunch here the other day. We both had a burger and a cocktail. With a tip our bill came to $80! Adding insult to injury they tacked on a 4% junk fee.

Haven't been here in a long time. Ordered the day's special, a turkey burger. Options coleslaw, salad or fries. Chose a salad. It was good. Was it $24.00 good (tax, tip and some added .74 wellness tax??)? Maybe not.

Went to the coalition for Mother’s Day late Saturday afternoon. This place has a cool vibe. The food is good and the drinks are phenomenal but like all places I wanted to give this a 5 Star rating but I would say more like a 4. They were short on servers. They had one bartender making Tons of drinks By herself, she did a phenomenal job and with a full bar besides not one stool empty in front of her. Our server was good. She was a little overwhelmed. She was working outside tables and inside, but overall we will be back, it’s to bad that all these places are hurting for servers.
