Hazelwood Food and Drink- Tonka Bay

We celebrated a birthday, food was amazing, had a nice ice cream Sunday without someone obnoxiously singing to you and making a scene, great vibe and ambience there!

Love this place. If you want popovers you MUST ask for them. Some new rule. Whatever. I love them so I'll ask. Food is good and ambience is warm and friendly. They are great handling food allergies. Staff is friendly. Please put popovers on the menu. I'm happy to pay for them. Just don't get rid of them!

The brussel sprouts appetizer was tasty but the sprouts were big and tough and very difficult to eat.

We go to Hazelwood about once a week. Great value with consistently delicious food. Service is always great

It was a busy Easter Sunday and the restaurant was very busy. I had made reservations and when I got there they were ready to seat us. Our waitress was very good. We got our dinner and it was very tasty, the service was good and it all came in a very short time from when we ordered. Everything was correct and we enjoyed out dinner. It was a bit noisy but nothing outrageous. We will be going back again.

Another great meal at Hazelwood! Been here many times and it never disappoints...great service, even on a busy holiday, and the food was excellent. Will be back again soon!

We had an awesome dinner at Hazelwood! The restaurant was busy as can be but you would never feel it. Food was great. Service was great. They run that restaurant really well! Kudos to the chefs and the staff. It's a great place for dinner.!

We just had a delightful and delicious lunch at Hazelwood and highly recommend it! Our waitress Madi was excellent and made some wonderful recommendations for our drinks and meals that turned out to be delicious!! I wish I were closer and could come more often because this would be a place I would frequent regularly!

First time there, and expect to return. Service was a bit unpolished, but generally prompt, pleasant, and responsive. Food was above-average, with good-sized portions. Nice cocktail list. Somewhat noisy.

This visit to Hazelwood started as a 1 star review, maybe less. We had our anniversary dinner reserved 3 months ahead of time. We checked in for inside seating 10 minutes early and the host said she would be with us shortly. She then seated table after table ahead of us and when I asked about our reservation she said “I already seated you”. Clearly she didn't as we were standing 5 feet from her the entire time. She berated bussing staff and was generally rude to patron and callers alike while complaining about a co-worker. She then tried to seat us outdoors after we stated and our reservation inside seating. She then seated us in the main bar high top....if we wanted a bar seat for our anniversary we would have just sat at the bar. I then asked for a manager who handled the situation from there and then seated us in the lower bar with tables full of Homecoming kids. Again, not acceptable and we vocalized our dismay to the manager. At that point Kimberly came to our table as we were calling Birch's for a reservation for the evening. She corrected the problem, owned the repeated mistakes and got us a a table in the restaurant as we had reserved 3 months prior. Kimberly save not only this visit, but any future visit to Nova Restaurants. We frequent the Nova Group establishments across the metro, especially Hazelwood. We enjoy them and chose Hazelwood for our anniversary. If it wasn't for Kimberly, this would have been our last visit to Nova restaurants. She then proceeded to help bus, expo, seat patrons, deliver food and drinks and check on guest. She is amazing. Equally amazing is the work ethic and smile of Deloris who was quickly and non-stop bussing tables She was moving constantly and her work ethic was incredible. As usual, the food was amazing from the appetizer to the dessert. The kitchen staff is very talented. ??????????

I first want to give a big shout-out to the GM of the restaurant, Laura, along with the head chef, Gary and their kitchen and catering staff! I work at a rather large company and we used specifically the Tonka Bay location to help cater 2 large events at our facility this week and they really delivered! Not only was the planning process extremely easy to work through but the food and experience was fantastic! Many of our employees were in awe of the variety of options they were able to provide and make work for us, and I must say the Gouda hash browns and banana creme pie were AMAZING!

Big thanks to the Tonka Bay location for your help to deliver a great experience for our facility and employees!

Would 100% recommend checking this place out even just for a casual dinning experience!
