The food was great! Had lemon garlic shrimp soft flour shell tacos, empanadas, queso dip and chips and mini margaritas. Very good flavors! My only complaint is that the booth seating is very tight. I will return.

Food was very good. I only gave a 4* for service and 3* for atmosphere because there were a couple ladies harassing the bartender about the amount of alcohol in their margaritas. One went behind the counter and told them she was making one herself. The other was taking pix.

Our meal was ok, nothing horrible, nothing remarkable. The problem I had was just how musty and mildewy the restaurant smelled. Not sure if the HVAC system needed a new filter or what but it threw off our meal as someone who is very sensitive to odors like that.

Lago Tacos is a must visit for Excelsior. Our meals were excellent, with larger portions than some other street taco restaurants we have visited. We had to sit at the bar, which isn't my favorite and this is due to the size of the restaurant. It is relatively small, so don't be surprised if you can't find a table when you arrive. Be patient because the food and service are great.

We waited for 5 minutes to be totally ignored. Woman and her kid comes in after us is greated with drink orders a welcome. Terrible service. At least 20.people standing around and completely ignored us.
