Great food and friendly service. Especially liked the sesame chicken taco. The fried avocado is delicious but very filling so I would recommend to share, but not to try to have it as an entree for dinner.

Came to Minneapolis from New Orleans for a work conference. We added a few days to our trip to explore the area. This was the best meal we ate all week!! LOVED everything about this place. If the weather permits I highly recommend eating outside!

Say hello to Sarah (with an "H")...our new favorite waitperson at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. We were visiting our son who recently moved into Excelsior & Grand across the street from Lago Tacos and after a long flight it was just a short walk to what is now our favorite Mexican restaurant.
We had a wonderful lunch and great conversation & laughter with Sarah...she made our visit that much nicer!
The Chips and Queso as an appetizer were spot on and the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos were cooked to perfection and very filling. We also ordered the Chop Salad with Shrimp which was amazing with perfectly prepared shrimp and great flavor.
We will be visiting our son in a couple of months and will definitely be stopping into Lago Tacos for a meal. 10 out of 10 stars...thank you Sarah. See you soon. L, John & Jean
