A few months ago, while walking near the lake, my family and I decided to grab some ice cream. I was worried I would not find any options, but thankfully, Licks Unlimited offered a few non-dairy flavors, which they also label as more sustainable. The person working quickly confirmed that they were vegan and even mentioned the sugar and cake cones are vegan too.

Licks is a must do stop when visiting downtown Excelsior. It can get busy in the summer months so plan to wait in line outside the shop. It’s just a part of the Licks experience!

Yum!! We were craving ice cream while walking around Excelsior and spotted Licks. Super cute inside! Like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. The staff were so lovely and offered suggestions. We did both get ice cream sandwiches. The cookies were freshly baked and you can get any flavor ice cream inside.
