Miyabi Sushi & Asian Bistro

Good Japanese sushi and fried rice food around Minnetonka. Service was great. We ordered fried rice (we asked for no egg customized) and it’s great.

Sushi is a must try. We tried snow crab sushi (6 pcs) and Avocado roll (comes with 6 pcs) and both of them great.

Noon to 5 pm had happy hour and worth the price.

I eat their often. Mostly takeout. Find a lot of inconsistency with same meals ordered. Last night ordered my favorite General Chicken and broccoli. Ask again light on sauce. They usually smother it. But instead of large portions of fresh broccoli. I got just a few small pieces smothered in sauce. Almost uneatable. Chicken was find. They usually serve a very small portion of rice. Half to order extra. If you have a issue with an order. They smile, but make no attempt to make it up even as a good customer. Nice carry out bags, unless you get paper white ones that fall apart. Kind of a love and hate relationship with them.

Never disappoints! Birthday dinner and yum yum yummy! Tried some new rolls and old favorites. Snow mountain roll with snow crab… to die for! Another I think was Mt Fuji also fantastic. Tried and true favorites… Dynamite roll and Vikings roll. Of course we had to enjoy a bottle of Nigori Crème de Sake! You can’t go wrong dining here. Portions are large and food is fresh.

Never disappoints. Tried two new specialty rolls and they were fantastic. Mt Fuji and another. Fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are large. Can't wait until our next visit.

It was just blah. Rolls were way to big and falling apart, super annoying when trying to eat (sloppy), service was really slow . My husband did say the nigiri was the best he's had in Mn and he is a chef, so that a positive. I just think it's hard to have good sushi in Mn to be honest. The ramen broth was completely flavorless and the steak teriyaki was the same, soupy and lacked any flavor. Gyoza & seaweed salad was good. Location is nice but we won't be back, really wasn't worth it.

Had a great experience at Miyabi! I got the shrimp tempura roll and it was delicious! The fried rice is a bit spicy (if you’re not used to much/any spice!) but it was overall SUPER tasty! We did have to ask for yum yum sauce with the rice- it didn’t come with it, which is different from most sushi restaurants but that wasn’t a problem, they were super quick with it! Super great service, food, and a nice quick walk to licks for ice cream after!

We recieved our appetizer after our meal. I server NEVER came to check us!!!! We received the wrong food!!! Our server ......when he actually checked on us blamed the food runner. However he put the wrong order in for our food. Then blamed the cooks after we just asked for our tab.

I have gone here frequently throughout the years. Their food has always been good. Last time I was there about a week ago, I ordered the pad Thai and had to send it back. It had a “wet dog” smell that made me nauseous and I even tried a bit and it seemed to be mushy and bland. This did not reflect the $18 that they are charging. After I sent it back, I felt like the waitress treated me differently which was disappointing. I have only ever sent back two meals in my life, this being the second. EVERYTHING ELSE WE ORDERED WAS GREAT, which included the fried tofu, and two sushi rolls.

Ordered General Tso's Chicken. It's suppose to be spicy. Theirs is nothing but sweet, zero spice. This isn't General Tso's, I'd say it's more of a orange chicken without the orange flavor. Very disappointing version of a classic Asian dish.Their Lo Mein also was mediocre. Price was to high for fast food equivalent.
