We had a fantastic time at Olive's Fresh Pizza Bar in Excelsior on a recent trip back to Minnesota! We had the Cecilia and the Thai Chicken Crunch pizzas, and they were both delicious.The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a cozy vibe. Service was friendly and attentive but not "over the top", which was great. I'm definitely craving their pizza now and will have to visit again soon!
I cannot rate the food. we arrived at 5:30 pm, it is now 7:20p and we have no food. part of our party, including a 1 yr old had to leave. I hope we get served in the next hour. should have done take out. seems they are catering to the take out orders.

Ordered takeout. Difficult to find parking to pick up. Arrived at the time it said to arrive. Was told it would be an additional 15 minutes because they were behind. No apologies. Not even offered a drink while I was waiting.

A great pizza in a welcoming spot. There's something for everyone at Olive's Pizza. In addition to the phenomenal pizza, they have a full bar with cocktails, wine, and beer. We love that we are able to get a regular pizza that they will make with 1/2 & 1/2 of your two favorite menu selections.Their pizza menu selections are top notch with non-standard selections that are not too out of the ordinary. They have delicious flavor combinations without making impossible food combinations. A nice bubbly thin crust with tasty toppings and great service. We've never had a bad time at Olive's.Parking: There is free street parking right in front of the restaurant as well as a free parking lot behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: On street level with two doors between you and the main seating area. There is one handicapped only parking spot on the street in front, only 20 feet from the front door .

Pretty good Neapolitan style pizza. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The decor is nice. The 12 inch is enough pizza for 1.25 people.

My family and I went to Olive's a few weeks ago during the but Christmas Market even happening around the corner. This meant the restaurant was pretty busy, but I felt like the servers were still very much on top of their tables! The pizza was okay - nothing to write home about, but I do like the diversity of their menu. I think it really depends what kind of pizza you like. Olive's crust is cracker thin and that's just not my preferred style. That said, I had been previously and enjoyed the Thai pizza. I would say don't bother with the more basic pizzas like margherita or cheese/pepperoni as you may be disappointed. You'll need to find street parking which can be hit or miss. Also, bathrooms are down a short hallway so just be aware. I'd go back in a pinch but it's definitely not my favorite pizza spot.
