We spent about 25 min waiting for our drinks, and over an hour for our food. They were busy but not absurdly so. Not sure if they were under staffed or what. It took so long we asked for it to go, and they took the food off of our bill which was nice, but when we got home the burgers were basically raw.. expected more of an Excelsior restaurant with Excelsior prices..

Dinner at the Bull and Wren was fabulous! We had 2 fish and chips, a pork chop and the salmon wellington. Everything was so flavorful. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. She also made some great suggestions. The other thing we appreciated was the privacy of the booths and the noise level was low considering there were quite a few people in the restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

The dry rub wings and avocado appetizers are great. The lamb, pork chops were great as well. My steak was very tender, but a little more done than the medium rare I ordered. The triple fried fries are a must. My wife enjoyed the sweet potatoes as well. The chocolate cake was good as well.

Food was fantastic. I had the Lamb Shank and Sticky toffee pudding. Very happy with my choices. Certainly elevated from your standard Bar/Pub fare.Service was friendly but slow.

It is a beautiful and charming place. Delicious food choices and very polite staff. Briefly met the owner and was very pleasant as well. There is plenty of room so you can have your privacy, but you can also seat large groups like a wedding party. Highly recommend you visit this establishment.

Parking: Free 3 hr parking behind building and use rear entrance.

Sat down on our own on a Tuesday night since there was nobody to greet us. Said hi to a waiter who ignored me. Took 12 minutes to have either of the two waiters stop and take an order. Took another 21 minutes before they returned with a beer and cocktail. The place was near empty too. Don’t think I’d recommend to anyone.

Best Irish pub experience I've had in America. All our meals were excellent. My son had the lamb shank. I had the Shepherd's Pie. Good selection of draft beers. We are glad to have found this place on our holiday outing.

The best Irish pub around! We love coming here for a Guinness, unique bar environment and awesome Irish food. 10/10 experience always.

So disappointed that none of their top dishes were available due to the fryer not working. Really reduced our favorite choices. Walleye bytes, truffle fries, fish and chips...Plus the service was very, very slow. Looked like they are short on help.

A fabulous Irish Pub right by the waters of Lake Minnetonka. If you're looking for special events for a large group, an intimate date night for two, or anything in between, this place is wonderful. Fabulous food, service, and a fine evening of drinking and dining will be had by anyone who visits. Highly recommend it!

Vegetarian options: Many options exist for meeting a Vegetarian's dietary restrictions. Cheese curds are delicious, the back and cheese is excellent, and their salads are delicious!

The food is ok and the happy hour is too. Service is lackluster, probably because the most energetic workers don't want to work for an owner who doesn't let them visit other restaurants in town. 2/5.

Tasty food and reasonably priced. Need to check their whisky selection next. Looked like an Irish pub though I've yet to.visit Ireland.

I brought family from out of town for an early dinner on July 4th. My brother asked questions about the local beers available for Happy Hour that the waitress was unable to answer and was visibly irritated by his questions. It took quite awhile to get drinks (including water). When ordering, I explained to the waitress my mom and I wanted to split a cheeseburger. She recommended the kids meal. The cheeseburger arrived quickly before the other food. The fries were lukewarm. The cheeseburger was 1/3 the size of the regular bun, and was not large enough to feed most children, let alone 2 adults, so I ordered a second kids cheeseburger and hot fries. There was a delay, and while I was waiting, the food arrived for the others in my party. Server was very slow with drink refills, clearing empty plates, forgot to bring additional dressing for a salad, etc... and it was annoying the food was served at different times. Overall a disappointing meal, and not the impression I wanted to give my guests.
