As a now past employee because management has the brain of a walnut I would like to shed some light on the situation you are dealing with when you eat at good old Perkins in fairmont. Training as a server there not a single employee can be seen washing their hands. Ever. I witnessed many employees eating on the line and going straight from stuffing their faces to carrying plates out. Perkins Restaurant & Bakery offers awesome food with friendly service. The chicken salad is a favorite among customers. Despite a minor issue with the bill, the staff promptly resolved it and even offered muffins as a gesture. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the food is good with reasonable prices. It's refreshing to have a server who is spot on, very nice, and respectful. The food comes out hot and very tasty. The parking is clean, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with lots of areas for that. The staff is patient and sweet with children. While the prices may be on the higher side for a basic breakfast, the overall experience is pleasant with great service and tasty food.
