The regular coffee was good. Sadly, the decaf was terrible, the Ba-sant was super salty, and the peaches on the peach scone had a chemical taste.
Not Justified!

Cinnamon twist roll was amazingly good! A+++ Hot Americano with half n half was also super! ❤️
I was so excited to see French Meadow Bakery at the Minnesota State Fair. I recently discovered French Meadow in St Paul. So awesome to be part of the Minnesota State Fair.

A state fair favorite! They seem to be back up to their pre pandemic quality!
Parking: It’s the fair. Take the bus.

This is my first stop every year at the State Fair. The Black Currant Tea is the best! Next to the Scones! This year they offer a SconeNut which is a cross between a scone and a donut!
BUT Wait! There's More! The best thing was the service that I received from Eden and CJ! These two youngsters knocked it out of the park. To see people wanting to work long hours and deliver with true smiles and authenticity made my first stop extra special! THANKS, kids, for what you do. "I'll Be Back". (Say it like Arnold) 8-)

The fried mushrooms were so crispy and delicious. The sauce that came with it was marvelous. The cauliflower earth wings were also good and the chocolate sconuts were sweet.

Very bad experience with the hostess Maria. We spent almost 100$ for two but the experience was awful never again
We've gone here previous years and really enjoyed the food, but today left much to be desired. One item ordered was a very simple turkey and cheese sandwich, and it took three sandwiches for it to come out somewhat correct. Everyone else was finished with their meal and waiting at that point. My sandwich was okay and my husband's soup was okay; nothing special or very flavorful. This was also our first time seeing the "wellness fee" which you don't know you're paying if you're not a regular, so I added gratuity and saw everything after the receipt was printed. I can say it wasn't worth the $60 lunch to have this experience. We were excited to return to a place we once enjoyed, but will not be returning in the future.

The cauliflower is why we come find you at the fair every year. The thick breading this year was all we could taste. Not good - we threw it away. ? Service was great and the quiet place to sit and eat was welcome as always.

I made a beeline because I saw they had GF options for sandwiches. I have an egg allergy and gluten intolerance, so I ordered the GF sconuts (delicious!) and a Heirloom Tomato Turkey & Bacon on GF bread, without the aioli. I received the sconuts right away but was handed two incorrect sandwiches before they (after asking several times which sandwich I got) finally gave me the turkey sandwich, on the butt ends of the GF loaf … and no bacon. After 30 minutes of waiting.I shouldn’t have had to point them to the menu to understand the sandwich I was ordering. At no point did I ask for the breakfast croissant on gf bread, but was handed two of them :( could be first weekend jitters but it sucks to be the one in line watching everyone else get their correct order. Use caution if GF.

My friend and I both ordered the beet and goat cheese salad. Itv was lovely to look at, but we could hardly eat it, because it was so salty. The likely ingredient causing this was something called "pistachio pumpkin dust." It looked like finely ground nuts and pumpkin seeds to which they must have added a ton of salt. I also paid $6 for an Arnie Palmer (half iced tea/half lemonade). I assume the high price was because the lemonade was supposedly made in-house, but they put so little of that in the drink I could hardly taste it. That's unacceptable for a beverage with no refills. I used to love eating here, but it'll be a long time before I ever go back.
We drove 30 minutes to have lunch here and we were seated by a confused hostess. It was so noisy we went to hostess and asked if we could have another table. She said that once we were seated we could not be reseated and that our choice was to leave. So we left and will never return.
