In a town full of abysmal dining experiences, this is amongst the worst. We've been here on 4 separate occasions "willing to give it another try". Never again.

Stopped mid afternoon on a Saturday, hostess was quick and pleasant. Our server was reasonably quick with our initial drink order and food, however mildly inattentive after that. Our food was delivered by two staff who ignored our son's empty beverage and my empty beer at the end of the table. All three simple food modifications were missed, annoying but not the end of the world. PB Bacon Burger was awesome, so was the Crispy Chicken sandwich. Waffle fries were warm and not super fresh. I ordered a beer toward the end of the beer which was not rang in or delivered, however the check was dropped off. Experience started well, but was middle of the road overall. Still better than the Mankato location which is a 1.5*.

Kid-friendliness: Average kids food options.

Disappointing Experience with Server Jada

I recently visited this establishment with my wife, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our server, Jada, made the visit memorable for all the wrong reasons. From start to finish, her behavior and attitude were unprofessional and outright disrespectful.

To start, Jada greeted us with a demeanor that came off as impatient and uninterested. While we tried to be polite and courteous, it felt as though she had no intention of reciprocating. We were met with eye rolls and heavy sighs when placing our orders, setting a negative tone for the meal.

When our food arrived, my order was undercooked. Politely, I asked if it could be taken back to the kitchen to be cooked thoroughly. To my shock, Jada’s response was rude and dismissive. She muttered something under her breath and reluctantly took my plate back. What’s worse, when she returned with the food, I noticed her behavior was alarming — she slammed the plate down and made me feel as if I had inconvenienced her.

The most upsetting moment came when my wife requested ranch dressing. Instead of accommodating this simple request, Jada responded with a loud and unnecessary “Hell no.” Her tone was aggressive, and her refusal to fulfill such a basic request left us feeling confused and insulted.

Additionally, her personal hygiene was an issue. The odor was so strong that it made our meal unpleasant. It’s rare to encounter this in a service environment, and it’s something that management should address immediately.

To make matters worse, Jada began making inappropriate and unprovoked comments about my wife and me. She ridiculed us about our weight, which was completely uncalled for. The irony was not lost on us, as Jada herself did not seem to meet the standards she was trying to impose on others. This level of disrespect and body shaming has no place in a professional setting.

Her comments became even more inappropriate when she made offensive personal remarks that were completely unwarranted. It felt like an attack, and it left us questioning why someone with such a negative attitude would work in customer service.

This experience not only ruined our evening but also left us feeling humiliated. No customer should ever feel judged, insulted, or mistreated while dining out.

While I understand that everyone has bad days, Jada’s actions went far beyond that. Her lack of professionalism, hygiene, and basic respect for customers were shocking. I strongly urge the management of [Bar & Grill Name] to address these issues and provide proper training to ensure no other customer has to endure such an experience.

We love dining out and supporting local businesses, but this encounter has made us hesitant to return. A bar and grill should be a place where customers feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. Sadly, that was far from our experience during this visit.

To the management, I hope you take this feedback seriously. Customers deserve better, and with some necessary changes, I believe you can ensure a more positive experience for future patrons.

My husband took me to Crooked Pint to celebrate Veterans day. We were seated right away but from there it went down hill FAST!

We ordered our drinks and food right away since it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come to the table.

An hour into being there we still didn't receive our food. THREE tables had sat down after us had gotten their food before us.

My husband got up to talk with the hostess, our waitress still hadn't come around to give us an update on our food. We waited another 5 minutes or so and nothing. We decided to leave.

They still charged us for our drinks. We decided to go across the street to Redemption. The food and service was 1000% better than what we got at Crooked Pint tonight.

8/19/24 ordered 2 ruebans and fries, and a poutine to go.... pull up in car side to go and called.. was told we don't do that anymore.... so I go in and tip a fat 20. Get home and my ruebans have no thousand island dressing, just dry as fxxk!. Poutine had frozen cheescurds and cold chunky gravy... just awful.

Last night my family decided to eat at Crooked Pint Ale House in Faribo, MN. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and was pretty clean. our waitress was great, but overwhelmed. the Food: my daughter's meal was terrible, the meat actually taste bad. ordered fries with wings, they did not come out with the meal, one of our salads we ordered was salmon and the fish was so over cooked we could have used it to replace a corn hole bean bag. this place is so close to being good, it's to bad, the main focus is on the food because the service was good and the place looks really nice... if you go to have a beer, you will love this place it you go for the food, you will be let down.

We went in for Tuesday taco day. There were 2 other tables, both with 2 people each. We ordered tacos which took well over 30 minutes to get to our table. They only materialized after I got up to chase down our wait person who told me they were almost ready. Both dishes showed up a minute later and were room temperature, so obviously had been sitting in the kitchen for over 10 minutes.
My wife had asked for a glass for her beer when we ordered. She was half done with that beer when I got up myself and got her a glass. The food was pretty good but no excuse for this poor service at 4pm with only 2 other tables occupied. May be my imagination, but it just seemed like the delay was to get us to order a second round of drinks that we didn't want, as we were asked a few times if we wanted another.

Used to be a regular, won't be returning anymore. Last time I was in there a friend and I came to watch the Thursday night game Packers vs Lions. I get we're in MN and expect a bit of razzing but we were treated like absolute trash because we were wearing Packers jerseys. My friend is hard of hearing and asked nicely to have the Closed Captions turned on. Asked nicely MULTIPLE TIMES and it was a HUGE inconvenience to the bartender working.. he never actually turned them on. We left at halftime. Both of our food orders were messed up and we sat with empty drinks for 30 minutes and no one checked on us.

We had a huge group and the waiter never got overwhelmed, food was good. The mixed berry Blended margarita is the best thing I've tried in a long time, highly recommend!
