“If you haven’t been to Boonies Grill you need to try it out! Pat and Erin along with a long list of staff members are welcoming and provide great service! Tyler back in the kitchen is constantly bringing new things to the table with great monthly specials that throw a twist on typical “bar food.” To top it off the atmosphere is a very rustic yet modern combining the history of the area yet giving you the Sunday football entertainment as well. Great location right off the freeway and easy access for snowmobiles and ATV’s. Great bar to try for your next outing!”

“A group of eight college friends have been gathering in August for probably 40 years. We discovered Gran Plaza in Faribault a few years ago; its a central meeting spot. What a gem!! Fabulous food, (the seafood burrito, tamale and guacamole were favorites), festive atmosphere and excellent service- Gracias, Andres!! This is a perfect spot for us! 100% recommend!”

“The manager, Jacob is a super good guy. He went outside to help a customer who had dropped their drink in the driveway. He then went out to clean up the mess so it wouldn't freeze. He was helpful when I ordered n cut me a slice of something I asked about. One of THE best sandwich shops I've been to. 👍”

“We do not get to the Broaster a lot, because we moved. They continue to have the best chicken we have ever eaten, and their potato salad is so tasty. Faribault is so lucky to have such a fantastic place to go!”

“Fabulous restaurant bar and grill located in downtown Faribault Minnesota. My parents went with their friends last year and said we had to try it! Did not disappoint. Our waitress was great and can make any drink you ask!! The food was great. Atmosphere on point! Definitely recommend.”

“I recently stayed there while attending a high school reunion. The cabins are rustic and comfortable & the view of the lake is outstanding. We had a lakeside cabin. wonderful location out I must say in the middle of nowhere. But that was part of the charm. It is a combination rental cabin and RV campsite. We stayed in one of the cabins and the accommodations were quite satisfactory. There is a restaurant bar combo on site that served excellent farm fresh wonderfully prepared meals at very reasonable prices. I must make it a point to give a shout out to the service I received from everyone I encountered including the owner Pam. These people made you feel welcome. That kind of stuff makes a difference when people are truly just being nice. I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in that part of the country.”

“The food is always fantastic and quick to the table. We've enjoyed all of the recommended dishes and it's our go-to spot when we're in Faribault (more than two hours from home). This food is the closest we've found in the state to all the delicious Asian options we had in Western Washington. To top off the great experiences we have had at 1st of Thai, we have also had lovely conversations with the owners, who offered suggestions for markets in the area. I highly recommend this spot.”

“I recommend the Orange Chicken with steamed rice and a delicious egg roll. The food was prepared exceptionally well. The egg roll was impressively crunchy and steamy. The establishment was clean for a supermarket cafe. The dining area was clean and quiet with sliding glass doors that offered a sound proof room. The dining area staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. I strongly prefer this place over Panda Express and other Chinese restaurants, that’s just me. Try it for yourself and leave me a comment on your thoughts. Thanks, I definitely will come back and enjoy other items on the menu.”

I'm a build a breakfast girl religiously tonight I ordered the exact same thing I always do and received half the food I'm used to getting for almost 13$ I was still hungry and proceeded to eat my husbands food! I've seen bigger breakfast portions in a kids meal and I'm not impressed.Food tasted good but the portion isn't worth the price I'm really disappointed Perkins build a breakfast was always my go to buy I won't that much pay for that portion AGAIN.”

“As a Place of Public Accommodation across the street from the Rice County courthouse, they can’t refuse service to anyone, within reason. Bathrooms are clean. Pizza pretty good and quick. Reliable service.”

“I used eagerly await the opening of this DQ. I grew up on BBQs and Mr Mistys. I can't in good conscious recommend this to anyone any more. Serving ice cold hot dogs, for the last 3 years. And the BBQ is not the same. It's gone down hill since they changed the recepie, and today I got just enough meat to moisten the bun. Bring back the original BBQ sandwich, quit nuking the hotdogs, learn how to put enough flavoring in the "Arctic rush" so it isn't just colored ice water, and I may return. Until then, you've lost the business of a 40 yr long customer.”
