“Best place to get turnovers. Especially when they are warm out of the oven. Absolutely love the raspberry ones. Their ham and pickle sandwiches are the delicious as well. Worth it!”
“Great hometown place to nosh on staple murican food and cold brews! Loose pours too. Friendly staff, good convo's and plenty of parking. Sleepy town Dundas. And a patio to boot?!? Good memories can be made ”
“We love to go to Dawn's for their Bloodies. They bring you a glass of vodka, ice and rimmed with spice. You then mix your own with a large variety of bloodied mixes. Then, you have a buffet of choices to accompany the bloodied....asparagus sprigs, olives, pickles, eggs, shrimp, meat sticks, peppers. Then you have a variety of seasonings and juices you can add.....pickle juice, hot sauces, soy, and the seasoning choices must be four or five options as well.Next is the wait staff ....the gals that have waited on us each time always greet you with smiles! They are quick to serve, check on you frequently to ensure you have what you need, and have awesome personalities. They want to make your time there a great one.We have had numerous good options from their menu and have never been disappointed. The burgers and wraps are fresh. French fries have a great crispness and are piling hot served to you. Quick turnaround from order placement to arriving at your table.Next time you're craving a good Bloody Mary, are hungry, or just want to stop into a local bar and grill and feel welcome, go to Dawn's!!”
“Such an adorable market and cafe! Fresh, tasty food made with local ingredients you can taste. They also have a market with too many tasty treats and cute things to take home. I had a great visit and will return!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was clearly marked on the wall-mounted menu, and there were a decent amount of options”
“Oh my gosh, so delicious! Hard to pick something but I went with the kitchen sink. A small is plenty. Very creamy soft serve, prices are right on for the portions, very nice service! My mom loved the pineapple whip. Cute little breezeway to order and wait for the magic.”
“Staff was very friendly and helpful (young male ~20). The food was SURPRISINGLY good. I was hesitant to try it because I’m not usually a “health food” person. Delicious. And surprisingly filling. I’ll be going back ”
“My family and I were wanting dinner after just enjoying a movie at the theater. Being Christmas day, I thought there would be no chance of this anywhere near. We were surprised to find the Hideaway coffee house open. Even more surprising, they apparently do a free meal every Christmas! Even though it was close to their closing, they welcomed us in, all with smiles and cheerfulness! I enjoyed interacting with the staff and the food was delicious! And despite a constant 4 hour flow of people through there, the tables and bathrooms were all clean. This was our first visit but will absolutely NOT be our last! Props to the owners and all the staff who took time on Christmas to do this. Simply heartwarming.”
“AMAZING! i don’t even know where to start.. this place is SO cute and the food is honestly the best i’ve had in ages. from their warm popovers to the cold curry salads, this place is to die for. atmosphere is cottage-like and homey! the lady who helped us was amazing :]highly recommend others check it out!”
“Parking: The store is in a small strip mall, didn't appear to be other tenants in the building. So plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: It's pretty much a to go place. You order wait for your order, and leave. A small sitting area if you want to stay. I wouldn't think anyone under 5 or 6 would be interested.Wheelchair accessibility: If it isn't busy, there would be no problem maneuvering a wheelchair. Plenty of room to get to order area, if crowded, may be cramped to get order, definitely not a deterent though.”
“We had a wonderful time at Basilleo's celebrating our Granddaughters 5th birthday. The food was terrific, the restaurant is Awsome and the staff is amazing.”
“Great coffee, great service, great atmosphere. Frequented by professors, students, and townies. Busy, buzzy atmosphere on weekend mornings but pretty quiet during the workweek.”
“This was/is a great place to take anyone for any occasion any time. I have many wonderful memories of/ the times I spent there with my father when they were just a small expansion on their family's home with everyone contributing to make it a unforgettable experience with phenomenal food, generous portions, and service that was performed professionally and flawlessly!”
“We come here pretty often and every time the food is amazing. Service is quick and friendly. We’ve had the Mediterranean omelet, BLT, chicken tenders basket, chicken bacon wrap, grilled chicken salad, and liver and onions. We’ve always loved our food. I’ve never had liver before and I liked it! Faribault family is our favorite place to eat in Faribault and I’d highly recommend it to anyone!Dietary restrictions: We have one person that is gluten intolerant and is fairly sensitive. The owner, Tia, has noticed when she accidentally orders something she can’t have and remembered what she normally orders and switched it (Liver and onions is dredged in flour). The next time we came in she had the kitchen make it gluten free and it wasn’t a problem!”
“I love this place so much and the coffee and tea are great! However, it is freezing in there and I can’t spend more than an hour without shivering. Please turn on the heat I will do anything.”
“Came here with my fiancé. We aren't originally from Minnesota so finding Mexican food that feels authentic has been a struggle. Must say the horchata, and food was Fantastic and had so much flavor! We can tell food was authentic ! The service was wonderful I can't wait to come back.”
“We all enjoyed our meals they were excellent. Generous portions of everything. I had side meals of beans and rice they were so good. My one would say nacho plate was the best.”
“Comfy, delicious, friendly place with amazing baked goods and fabulous coffee. I had the energy bites and they were delicious and also enjoyed a cup of dark roast. Yum!”
“Lovely, family and dog friendly, brewery. I really appreciated that the company is very LGBTQ+ positive and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. Also, in the bathrooms there is signage and ways to contact staff members if you are being made uncomfortable by anyone and they will make sure you get home safe.”
“I had the Chicken fried steak and gravy. I have not tried many other things because I go there for just that. Great burgers, chicken and appetizers. Great for familes..”
“Being a college student that primarily went to the cities daily in life before moving to a small college town was difficult. It was difficult finding good food throughout the first couple months. I’m extremely glad to have found this restaurant. The food reminds me of the food that I have lived with throughout my life, being good quality and delicious. I recommend the ravioli”
“Staff is great, quick service for smaller tables. Larger tables can take some time.Food is good but was different this last time there, will have to try again to see if it was me.”
“Cute local cafe in a small town! Got a chai latte and it was a big too strong (too much chai) but it was still good. The barista get greet us as we entered which is always nice. It is combined with other shops and restaurants, they can definitely add a couch or two could make the vibe more cozier. I would love to come back and try out some other drinks!”
“Very interesting place in an unusual location. The drinks were very good and the service was great. We bought a bottle of the Old Fashioned mix and my husband loves it!”
“We had a wonderful brunch here! The atmosphere is great - it's located in an old, historic building. The food was also very delicious - and they accommodated our dietary restrictions with ease. Definitely plan to go back!”
“My coworkers recommended this place when I asked if it was a Starbucks nearby. Not too shabby, I ordered the frozen matcha with bubbles. Absolutely, hate the bubbles but the matcha was milky. I want to go back for their energized drinks too.”
“This bar was significantly better for my taste than next door. Small bar, small town Saturday night. I expected it to be loud and was extremely happy that had a very large patio we could still go talk and hear one another. I was immediately greeted and served and treated respectfully. Did not have any food so I did not rate food. It was hard to tell where the bathrooms were and which door to go out of to get to the patio. Minor inconveniences that don't affect my rating. Drinks were good. I just ordered rail liquor and it wasn't undrinkable.Parking: It's off street parking or parking in the grass next to the bar. Though that isn't specified.”
“I have only been once but I tell you that this is the best coffee shop in town I was treated really good her the stuff everyone was really friendly and kind I recommend this place if your looking for quick ”
“I just had lunch at Raven's Nest Cafe. I had a half grilled cheese and half soup. The grilled cheese was delicious. It had muenster cheese and was grilled perfectly. The soup was provincial white bean which was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. The cafe is inside a bike shop which adds cool vibe to the ambiance. Highly recommend.”
“Ok, so I’m a Northfield native living in Brooklyn NY, surrounded by snobby/world-class bakeries, including Ovenly, home to one of the best PB cookies in the country. Bread People’s cookies, including the PB cookie, completely blow it out of the water. There’s so much delicacy in the flavor of everything they make - i hope this place becomes a Northfield institution!!”
“Fun little brewery. Must stop when visiting Northfield. Cute brewery with a nice patio and beautiful views. The beer is always good and they also sell crowlers and growlers.”
