Their are a few good Mexican restaurants in the area but not many great ones, El Tequila is one of the great ones. The food is great, atmosphere and facilities are great, and the service was, yes you guessed it great.

Tuff location for these guys but they put out decent Mexican fare. Closer to authentic if anything. Faribault is a interstate 35 town that makes you commit when you take an exit. I always have a destination in mind but the screwy road set sends me right on out of town. This little joint sits obscurely on the south on the longest on ramp to 35 S. Check this place out. The staff is good, the place is clean and the carne asada tacos (3.75each) were fresh, delicious and bigger than most. Enjoy! Be good Be nice Be you…,,,

Great service! They were constantly coming by asking if we needed anything. We haven’t had service from restaurants come close to the service from here. Many food choices to pick from. We would definitely come back again.
