The food is incredible. I typically get a burrito which feeds me for two meals. The last time I ordered a bowl and that was just as fantastic as everything else.

Taqueria el Jefe is bombtastic! Not your typical gringo Mexican restaurant you might find in Minneapolis that has no spice. Their chirizo is wonderful. With the salsas I highly recommend the verde salsa which has a lovely cilantro flavor and the habanero salsa to add some heat.

Casual Mexican diner, order at the counter, they bring it to the table. Disposable eating utensils, Styrofoam water cups/large, but their food is fresh, hot, ample with lots of side salsas. Bottled mexican sodas and Coca-Cola products. Hand scooped ice cream also!

I had one of the best Fajita Quesadillas I have ever had. Super fresh pico to go with it. The service was awesome as well! Would absolutely come back again!
