Mallards is always a good time, but last Friday was exceptional! The place was packed (pro tip - make reservations on a Friday night) so the bartender offered us a couple stools at the end of the bar for me and my wife!
The bartender Shanel absolutely crushed it— she made a martini that my wife described as “dangerously perfect.” I took advantage of their great beer selection.
On their suggestion we tried the flounder special, and wow—just the right amount of heat. 10/10 evening.

Stopped for a late lunch and was floored by the food! Absolutely delicious! 10/10 Really enjoyed the selection of mocktails offered in the drink menu! We couldn't decide on an app so we asked our waitress to surprise us out of three, we ended up with the seafood queso and it was outstanding! When eaten immediately after dipping a chip it's got a great seafood flavor, but if you let it cool on the chip for a bit before eating it, then the cheese flavor comes out more. For the main dish we enjoyed ahi tuna tacos & seafood roll. The tacos were surprisingly filling and the tuna was flavored very well, not overly fishy at all! Was excepting the tuna to be pieces, bit instead was one large chunk. The seafood roll had great flavor, not overly strong on the fish flavor, but also not drowning in mayo. For dessert we got the key lime pie and it was exceptional! The very first flavor you get is the steong lime, the same essence you get when you squeeze a lime. Immediately following that zing you get the decadent creamy sweet of the filling. It's neither overly sweet or overly tart, instead incredibly balanced! Our waitress mentioned it's homemade and a family recipe. Everything we had was a solid 10/10. Highly recommend!!

The food is absolutely impeccable here. Not only did the owner / manager check on us several times to make sure our meal and the service was great. My mom and I were jokingly saying the place is so good we need to try everything on the menu!! Exceptional drinks, food, service, & and owners that truly care of the outcome of your experience. If I could give this place 10 stars 🌟. I would!! Highly recommend reservations. Atmosphere was cool & warm, smaller side. Cozy.

This was our first time here, and we were impressed. Tracie was fantastic, and the jambalaya was the best we ever had. We will be back!
The food is excellent, always. But our family dines here for the service. Bessma is attentive to our needs, noticing when our glasses are nearly empty and proactively attending to our needs. After multiple visits, she even memorized my favorite beer choice…I do t even need to place my order and a beer magically appears!

Ordered on doordash and the lemon chicken came with practically no potatoes. It looked depressing opening it. This was 20 bucks BTW. Usually have good experiences with mallards but kitchen staff what was going on the night of november 11th?? Took over 3 hrs to get my food from order placed as well.
