Small town with simple food options. This reminds you of what grandma makes when you come to visit. Sandwiches and chips. The homemade pie is the best, not overly sweet and very fresh. Ice cream is a good size for the price.
Best pizza I have had in years. Thank goodness no weird spices like one reviewer likes. Just all tasty ingredients that come together to make an excellent pizza. Friendly helpful staff and great service.
Riding the Root River trail for 12 miles we arrived at the Village Square ready for coffee and pie. They just opened at 11:00 and four tables of locals had already placed their order for the daily special. More came in and there were several to go orders whine we were there. The young gal serving everyone with a smile was wonderful. The coffee was good and the strawberry rhubarb pies was delicious! By the way, the wooden chairs had comfy seat cushions that were greatly appreciated...
