Pooch's Corner Pub Bar • $
103 1st Ave, Freeport

“My husband and I stopped at this bar last night for a quick bite to eat after our son's baseball game in a nearby town. I had the special; a heaping basket of crispy chicken strips and yummy fries. He had a great cheeseburger basket with fried onions, that was done to perfection as well. We each had an ice cold beer and our bill came to $20.00! Wow! Great atmosphere and the patrons even took the time to chat with us as they walked by. Yep....Highly recommend!!!“

“Love this pizza place! Pizza is delicious, cheese bread is delicious. Small family owned pizza place with a couple of generations working there. Inside is not much to look at but I actually prefer places that's aren't really updated. Maybe it reminds me more of my childhood when restaurants weren't so fancy. The prices are very reasonable too which is really nice in this economy. I would highly recommend stopping in. It's a little of the main drag but only by about a block.“

“Some of the best food I've had. The fries are super good and very interesting. I've never had flat steak fries? Not sure that's what they actually are but the only way I can explain them. Absolutely incredible place to eat and would highly advise to make this a place to stop by.“

“Fun, family friendly, local bar atmosphere. The music was just the right volume to enjoy & still converse. The waitresses were hustling but not rushed. The pizza was good--not quite NYC but definitely worth the trip when in this sleepy, small town.“
