Excellent ice cream and candy shop on the north end. You can tell a lot of care goes into the creation of these desserts and treats. Ice cream almost tasted honey based, similar to one of my favorites, Aglemesis Brothers in Cincinnati. This shop should be a whole lot busier than it was, 5 stars might not be enough.
The coconut lime ice cream and lemon lavendar ice cream at Flamingos gives a vibe of tropical vibes in a cup. I LOVED it!

I'm editing my review, since it's no longer Grandpa's.I wish you luck! We live behind the store and would walk there often for an after dinner snack. It's is not creamy and tastes like ice milk. We have tried a few times and it's the same every time. The price is too high for the quality. My chocolate ice cream with no milk tastes the same as what I had this evening. I will happily drive 25 minutes to Nelson's for a child size that I can't finish...
