2nd time coming here in a month. Thought the first time was a fluke thing, but service is absolutely awful. Both occasions, we waited extremely long for food, and never once got refills, even with the empty glasses sitting at the edge of the table. Waiter had to come and ask what we ordered and still waited an extended amount of time. This place needs some serious help!

We try to eat here again every few years to see if it's gotten any better. It's always a disappointment. Lackluster menu, tasteless food, filthy restaurant. Service is okay sometimes, but generally slow.

My daughter, Danette picked up our order. We ordered Walleye sandwiches which were delicious! ?? I had onion rings with mine!

Super limited menu. It’s stressed that no one wants to work here. I can’t blame them. The server was pretty negative and I wouldn’t want to work with her either. Any questions asked about the food was received in a very defensive manor. Like chill bruh. A spider came down and landed on our table. 2 tables were served before us. Lots of great parking available.

We had planned on eating at the casino, but after realizing that was going to take a lot longer than we wanted to wait for food we knew was going to be mediocre, we decided to find somewhere else. First time at Rocky Bottom, staff greeted us when we walked in and were friendly and helpful. Our food choices were all excellent, I really enjoyed the sweet potato fry dipping sauce! Nice view of the lake from pretty much anywhere in the bar area. Will probably have to stop in the summer and sit on the lakeside patio. My only complaint is the gravel parking lot!

Our family ordered and got pop that was extremely watered down and taste was horrible. The food I ordered was dripping in grease. For the prices here it’s not worth it.The wait staff were friendly so no complaints for them.
I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was so unpleasant, I had to... I ordered the Prime Rib, medium rare, which is one of their specialities. The wait was 1/2 hour. It arrived well done. They took it back and returned with another well done slice. When I sent that back they said the whole prime rib roast had been overcooked and suggested the ribeye. It was tough and tasteless, but I was tired of the situation so I accepted it anyway. The Au gratin potatoes were made with processed cheese, not real cheddar. They cut corners with their quality and have an overinflated opinion of their food's worth, perhaps because they're on Mille Lacs, but don't be fooled by the $15.00 burgers and nickel-and-dime sides (which should be included). The taste does not merit the price. This restaurant is not worth it.
Excellent service. Husband loved the walleye sandwich - battered and fried, Generous portion. Fries were just okay but the homemade chips came out warm and delicious. I definitely would just stick with the chips as a side. Great view of the lake - frozen, presently - but I bet sitting on the patio in the summer is lovely.

Stopped in during a busy holiday weekend all to find just two other couples in there at 5:40pm. We had just 6 people, 2 of which were kids. Waitress was very rude and asked if we needed reservations. I looked around and laughed, thinking it was a joke because no one was in there. She replied “it’s courtesy to let kitchen staff know when you have 6 people in your party up here” - lol - excuse me? We’ve been to many restaurants, in fact all of them in the same area, sometimes with 8, sometimes with 12, even on their busiest of nights. Guess what, every single one of them welcomed us and said how thankful they were that we were supporting them - great comment! Big tip! This chick - nope! Food was nothing special. Ambience was terrible and they were playing rap music for two old couples and a family. Wow. Was told it was so dead that they were going to send their cooks home!! Another lol moment as it wasn’t but 15 minutes and the place was packed. They are crow that night. If I’m starving to death and that was the last place on earth to visit, I guess I’d go. Shy of that, visit an establishment that appreciates your business. This place won’t last - they can’t afford to buy more tap beer because they were all out that night! Wow wow wow. Good luck.
"Perfectly Geographic" is the first superlative that comes to mind when you arrive at the property. I stumbled in the first time just to talk shop with a colleague and was thoroughly impressed by the lakeside dining facing Lake Mille Lacs. The servers are super inviting and are very attentive to the guests. Karen and Justin are often conveying their appreciation for the passersby and random vacationers that wander in. The menu selection is full of delicious variety. I had to flip my decision coin to settle on my order. Two full bars that have a local bar family dining feel on one side and a remarkably well contrasted lakeside marinaesque vibe on the other. I've since returned a few times for live music. I also love that they decided to think outside of the box and bring comedy to the area. It's a great switch up that makes for a wonderful experience. It's a must stop because it'll surely become a must return.

We were greeted by a couple employees that we could sit anywhere, my husband asked bartender about the lobster bisque, she answered and quickly walked away, waited quite a while to order, food came, my pasta was lukewarm, husband's potatoes were cold, no lobster in the bisque, they heated it up but pasta had a weird sweet taste, shrimp was chewy. The atmosphere is comfortable, woodsy feel. Won't be back.

This is not a populated area. Mom and pops are the normal here. It was a good dinner but not great. The tea was old. The salad was good. The soup was ok. For what you have to pick from here, this could be one of the better options. The waitress was attentive and I felt she liked her job, which made this a much better

This was the worst bar/ restaurant I’ve been to, the manager was rude and so was the the waitress shawna. She apologized but was not genuine about any of her apologies. We had to ask for two burgers because they were both raw and the all you can eat fish was under cooked. Overall bad experience. Would have been one thing for it to be done wrong but it was another when it came back worse the second time and nobody seemed to care about it. The whole time we were continuously told they were about to close yet we called before walking in and we’re told they closed 2 hours from when we walked in.
I know it’s winter but fairly dead here on a Saturday night. Drove up here from Grand Casino and would have been cheaper to eat/drink there. Establishment was in decent shape, one meal was good one not so much. $5.00 rail drinks. $14-$17 for burgers/sandwiches with chips and up charge for more. Saving grace was the wonderfully attentive service. The friendliness of the staff on our way in and out was very much appreciated.
I am very disappointed. I talked this place up to my girlfriend who I took out on an overdue well needed date night. The beer was warm. My prime rib was way undercooked and very chewy. Her chicken was dry and the waiter had to come up to us three times to ask us again what we wanted. And he still forgot our vegetable. I had ordered the lobster bisque soup and it came out cold! The bill was $81. How ridiculous to have a menu like that and have unqualified people running the place. The only thing good was my salad.
