We visited with a family of 6 (including 2 small children). It appeared to be “seat yourself” but that wasn’t very clear. Our drink order was taken right away by a very nice gentleman and our food orders followed shortly after that. We ordered the special (scalloped potatoes, ham, corn, and a bun), southwest chicken wraps, and the walleye sandwich. i’ve lived in BrainerdPillager my whole life and I’ve never tried. The Birds Nests food and service is great!! I’ve been back 4 to 5 times since my first visit great lunch and dinner, specials, and the pickle soup is to die for!
