Had the fried chicken supper. It was four large pieces, fries, coleslaw and Texas toast.
Way too much for one guy. It was delicious and the service was amazing.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Don’t get me wrong it’s a cool place on the lake with the open garage doors but is absolutely not worth it for the food quality and service. When we arrived, we were ignored for 15-20 minutes. Then when we were ready to order the server told us the kitchen was backed up and asked if we would wait 30 minutes to order, which we happily agreed to. That was our mistake… the server then proceeded to take other tables orders and we waited 2.5 hours in order to get our food. Full tables were sat after us and finished eating before we got our food. Once food arrived, orders were wrong and after so long we just had to take it. After expressing our frustrations (after being very accommodating) there was no sorry or any offer at all to comp any items from our bill. That is outrageous… we feel like we were robbed over $100 and 2.5 hours of our lives…

We ordered pizza and were able to pull up to dock from the lake for take out. Pizza was delicious, lots of cheese and soft thick crust! We will be back!

Heard about this place from one of my friends. Had a laid-back lakeside dinner at Captain’s Bar & Grill in Glenwood—their BLT basket hit the spot, and the staff was friendly and the view of Lake Minnewaska was fantastic. Totally worth a stop for good food and great atmosphere.

I only stopped in for about 5 minutes but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was great, view was great.

We will not be back for Bingo or to eat small burger and a plain salad bar with empty spots and bill was not like she told us price

Very Rude. Was told one price and got over priced after she told us before we ordering how it would work for pricing food cuz I didn't want French fries with my bacon cheese burger and wanted salad bar what was ONLY lettuce no soup no meat... I got my bill it was 32.45. WTF Burger and French fries cost 15.xx MY wife got charged 11.99 for the salad bar after being told 5.99. Thank good we didn't have any drinks. Screw jobs would of really got me.

The food was just ok but not worth the price. I ordered the Walleye ($19)- very thin small piece that came with a vegi (canned, square pieces of carrots, over cooked) & side (I ordered sweet potato fries- best thing on the plate even though they were not hot). I've had better for this price. Hubby ordered his usual burger & fries (his were hot). A table of 12 ordered just before us, received their appetizers, then dinners, ate, and were getting ready to leave before our table of 2 received our plates. Seriously, they were not that busy. Also, we were never offered refills of sodas until we were served. We got there at around 7:30.
If we're ever in this area again, we'll be looking elsewhere for a good meal and service.
