The ice-cream was soft and wouldn't stand up to the DQ test if he had tried it. There wasn't many cookie dough pieces. The counter worker acted like he didn't want to be there and it showed in his service.

2 bad experiences in a row. First we ordered a crispy chicken salad. When we got it home there was absolutely no chicken anywhere. Let it slide, tried again and this time it appeared that they ran out of salad containers and used one a third of the size of what it usually is. Absolutely unacceptable. We order online to avoid the poor service at the counter. We're done.

Stopped to order a small shake. The girl helping us was leaning against the counter and never stood up to acknowledge me. Placed order then 3 minutes later my daughter wanted a small sundae. She received her Sundae immediately while we continued to wait 7-8minutes for a small vanilla shake. We were the only people in there besides one person before us who was waiting forever for his food. We ate outside and I had to go back in for napkins. The 4 staff were all standing around laughing and immediately stopped once I walked closer. Completely unprofessional. They could've been wiping down tables or cleaning up the restaurant or feces on the toilet. This place is disgusting, extremely rude staff and dirty. Not to mention my son had stomach issues immediately after DQ. I honestly think they put something in his shake with how they were laughing. Maybe because I didnt tip as didnt deserve it. My business will go to local ice cream shops in Grand Marais, done with DQ.

The employees here do not get paid enough for the customers that they have to deal with all summer long!

Terrible service. We stood first in line to order. There were 4 workers talking to each other, showing each other their phones and laughing. They didnt even notice or acknowledge we were standing their- zero tip from me

I was glad to see that there was a familiar fast food option in Grand Marais for a quick and convenient meal. Some of the combo prices seem higher than DQ restaurants elsewhere. It did seem a little short staffed, but the young employees working there were calm and professional. If you go during high tourism season, I would expect to wait. Blizzards and burgers were very good.
