Entered the building and was greeted by no one, given no instruction anywhere on whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated, waited for 5 minutes for anyone working there to say anything to us, and had to walk out as it genuinely seemed we were being fully ignored. Legitimately felt like we walked into someone’s private home, not a business.
Nope, our experience here was a bad one. We walked in and seated ourselves in the bar area at the bar table. Then we sat there, and sat there, and sat there. After about 10 minutes with no drinks, no food, and not even a hello, we got up and walked out. I have no pictures of being there because we weren’t there long enough to care.
Sadly...the wife and I went to enjoy a band playing up there...( twin town )】】which outperformed our expectations m...however the ginger bearded bartender was an absolute disgrace towards my wife...ignoring her standing at the bar trying to order a non alcoholic beverage while doing absolutely nothing...needless to say we walked...seems these people working up in this town ate much more important than us little pesky customers and cannot be bothered to do there job...even one star would honestly be too much and they wonder why this establishment has changed hands so many times over the years. Coming from a local
..bring your own entertainment because the class of people working up there...is well below the standard...almost as if they come from the west coast...
Disappointed. I brought a group of 12 in for dinner the night before my wedding. Mind you, I did call 3 times prior and spoke with a bartender the last time I was in the area. The only staff on duty was a bartender and a cook.
Their cauliflower crust pizza is amazing!!
Where do I start? With the lack of ambiance, the smell of stale beer, the less than mediocre ordering process or the fact that you have to serve yourself?
Oh well, let's start with the good, the flatbread pizza and the burger with fries.... And that's where the good ends and the mediocre to bad starts. Do not order any salad. Horrible iceberg lettuce with some shredded carrots and a couple tomato slices. $14....(FOURTEEN). The tiny side salad is $7....utterly ridiculous.
When I ordered, I asked the person behind the bar how the wings are, if they were tiny and dry or big and meaty. He didn't know so he asked somebody else, he didn't really know either but then he said that they were big and meaty, probably because that's what I wanted to hear, the picture below will prove them just a little wrong.
Overall this was the biggest let down of any Up North restaurant in 28 years, never again. I'd rather go back to My Sister's Place, at least there you have friendly table service.
If you need to go to Up Yonder, come for the burger and the pizza, but never ever order a salad or wings. Save your money and save yourself from disappointment and frustration.

Stopped on a whim for dinner and some drinks and ended up getting a bunch of appetizers instead. The food was amazing, the portion sizes are great, and the service was fast and friendly!

Service only 2 stars because there are no servers. You grab menu and go up to bar to order. Food is very good.

Comfy local bar atmosphere with great customer service and elevated bar food/beer! The duck wontons are so phenomenal that we WILL be returning before we leave the area.
Update: we returned three times before leaving the area and all three experiences were top-notch!

Let’s be real: the food here was phenomenal. Fresh affordable and bursting with flavor, those flatbread pizzas? Near perfection. They were toasted just right and piled high with toppings.
The wings? Cooked to a tee and seasoned almost like they knew what they were doing.
This was our last solid meal before diving into the BWCA, and I can’t recommend it enough.
As a Texan, I typically wouldn’t give bar food a second thought, but this place blew my expectations out of the water.
