Great vibes. Love stopping here!
We stopped at **Voyageur Brewing** in Grand Marais three times during our trip — that’s how much we enjoyed it! I ordered the Brule River Blonde Ale every time and my boyfriend had the Blueberry Sour. Both were really good, and they offer a nice variety of craft beers (I’m just not an IPA fan, but they do have a few options for those who are).
We also tried the pretzel with their mustard and beer cheese — both were delicious, but that mustard was *amazing*. We honestly wanted to buy a jar to take home!
Out of the three visits, two of the bartenders were super friendly and conversational — especially Josh, who really stood out. Overall, a great spot with good beer, tasty snacks, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!
Beer was ok. Pretzel was great! Wings were decent. Tacos were great! Arugula salad was great!
Good beer, good food, good view from the rooftop - enjoyed the patio area!
If you like excellent beer and quality pub food, Voyager is the place. Nice merch too!
Terrific brewery in the heart of Grand Marais overlooking Lake Superior. Awesome dog friendly rooftop and enclosed patio. Beers are always great and they have an awesome selection of food. Love to be able to get chips and top the tater! Jimmy the beer rep is an all time great guy and will always have me saying great things about Voyager.
Worth a stop whenever you're in town as long as you can find a table amid the crowds. A number of solid brews on tap at all times, though it lacks in the spectacular brews. They will have some good rotators from time to time like an experimental/hazy IPA this summer. The pils is decent in addition to a number of the IPAs. I also enjoy the berry sour but get tired of it - they could explore more in that area. We enjoy snacking here but the menu is a bit limited if you want bigger bites. The food is quite tasty though again, it doesn't change much and lacks some in variety. Hard to go wrong with tacos, cheese curds, and a giant pretzel though. Staff are always super friendly and helpful.
Excellent as always.
Stopped in yday...went to counter to order a couple of beers...was told to grab a table and someone would take our order. 15 minutes later walked out with no contact.
A little pricey, but the beer was good and the food and service were excellent! Nice atmosphere, too.

Excellent and FAST service. Food and beer was amazing!!
Good beer, cheese curds were bland and they only played beetles “hits” the whole time. Very nice people though. They let us hang around and do homework for a long while.
Very nice place with delicious beer, great service and a wonderful atmosphere.
Excellent Amber and a cool bar area
