We stopped at Cedar Creek Tavern for dinner on the way to our cabin. Brandy was our bartender and she was fantastic! She suggested the ribs for dinner and they were absolutely incredible! Thank you Cedar Creek Tavern for an awesome dinner experience!

What a good experience we had today at Cedar Creek. We were greeted with a smile and service was so friendly and helpful. Compliments to the chef for the Poutine special. We also had the Barvarian Pretzel and the chefs dips of cheese and honey mustard. We will be back again. Thank you.

The outside patio was nice, waiter was entertaining! The meal portion was disappointing. Salmon portion was extremely small for price of plate.

It was my first time at Ceder Creek Tavern. At first I thought prices were high, but the food was very delicious. I ordered stuffed mushrooms and the BBQ burger w/o BBQ. My taste buds were screaming for more, but I was stuffed half way through. The chef has talent!
The service was also the best that I've experienced in most of Grand Rapids area. They took time to help us order and have small talk w/o making us feel like we were an inconvenience. They certainly delivered!
If you want to go somewhere and know you'll get good food and service consistently, but pay a little more. Then this is the place to go.
Lastly, I'd describe the atmosphere as just right and chairs we sit in at the high top tables were comfortable. Temperature felt airy and although there's music in the background along with other people chatting at their tables having a good time, you could hear your company's voice just fine. I certainly enjoyed the whole experience.

I will give some gracious here as we had a large group. However the over all experience was not good.
We offered for each family to order separately. The 2 waitresses declined saying it was easier the way they did it. They took all drinks and then supposedly did food separately as in the different families. Drinks were slow. Food was good. Then came the bill.... after waiting a good 30 minutes. 24 people.. 6 different bills
I don't understand how it was so hard considering you took each family separately. I went in twice asking what the status was and only until I stood there, then you start putting them into the black things to take to the tables. Btw you had 10 to 15 other receipts on printed out. What was on those? The true order?!? We had 2 high moons that I don't believe anyone at any of our tables had. We paid and even tipped over 20%. Others in our group disputed, but they still ended up paying. When we come to Minnesota again, we will think twice about coming.
