Every Saturday we have stopped in for the buffet...I keep thinking it can't be as bad as last time but it is. The food is good.....if you can get anything, always very little to no pizza on the buffet
We got a sausage pizza and cheesy bread to go and neither had any flavor I love Sammy's but maybe they changed recipe

My boyfriend's family MUST visit this place every time they are in town. I am Gluten Free and Dairy Free and they had options for me that weren't just a plain side salad. Their gf bread is so good I was worried I was served the wrong thing, they said they take providing alternatives and serving people with allergies seriously. The pizza is flat crust square cut, very much northern mid-west style maybe st. L inspired. Pictured is the clubhouse on gluten free bread.

In town from Leawood, KS to see a friend that spends 6 months a year on Siseebakwet Lake. One of his favorites in GR. I see why. Beer was good and cold, and the pizza was 1st rate. Will be back, for sure.

This was our first time to Sammy's and the food was beyond my expectations. The pizza was the best I have ever had in my life. The cocktails and artisan beers on tap were five stars all around. Hannah RR was our server and she was prompt, proactive, and gracious. If you are ever in Grand Rapids, this place is a must. And from what I saw other diners having, the sandwiches, burgers and food portions were huge. But in my opinion, the pizza is the top attraction.

Great service but the shrimp Alfredo pizza was terrible. The Alfredo sauce and the crust was fantastic but it was really lacking cheese and the shrimp tasted undercooked and gamey. I’ve had shrimp Alfredo pizzas elsewhere that were soo much better

I went 2 times and both times the pizza was great and portion was just right as I went both times super hungry. 1st time I got Seth’s Mac & Cheese Pizza and 2nd time I got the Philly Cheesesteak pizza. I found the Seth’s Mac & Cheese Pizza after a while was a bit salty but if you’ve got a sweet drink you’ll be fine. I really like how they don’t cut their pizzas like the normal ‘standard’ way of cutting, they cut it in squares which mentally made me feel fuller for some reason.
The inside is very nice, clean, and seats are organized with 2 sections, 1 (which is to the left) is the bar part with high chairs and to the right is the regular booth, seat section. Their known for their pizzas but they’ve also got salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, stromboli, wings, soup, and such. But by far, they’ve got a larger selection of pizzas. Even if you don’t go for their pizzas it’s a great enviornment to hang out with someone/people.
