From removing classics off the menu to being politically biased, it's a mess now days. As someone born and raised in this town, I no longer can go here to feel nostalgia or even feel safe. This business promotes a rhetoric that excludes and endangers people like me.
I would suggest straying away from this bakery and finding a more welcoming establishment.

When I fly in from Georgia, my first and last stops are Carl's. Everyone has political views, there are signs up all over town. I don't have to agree with political choices to enjoy the BEST BAKERY IN THE COUNTRY. Keep baking, Streblow's. This too shall pass.

Needed a cake for my dad's 60th birthday! Cake was designed perfectly to how we wanted and ordered it and done by the time we needed it! Only regret is that the design is so neat and we need to actually dig into it. Dad loved his cake! Thanks Carl's Bakery for making my dad's birthday extra special for him!

We stopped at Carls a few months ago on our way to a camping trip. The donuts were well worth the stop. Highly recommend

It's 85 in the store minimum. A little AC would go a long way.Service wasn't anything to be overjoyed with. We were the only ones in the shop, a drive up came and we waited for the, hopefully new employee, to discern how to answer a question.We left hoping they survive being open for business.It is Carl's and they will. But dang. Not impressed
