“Absolutely the most friendly café in the area. Nothing here is made without forethought and every plate comes out like it was in your own kitchen. I'd done some work for these owners in the construction and got a preview of the wonderful food before it even opened. I recently got the chance to eat there while they were open for business and it was just like owners, Jess and Adam had made me a home made meal in the comfort of my own home. 5 stars are for restaurants. This is a 10 star home.Vegetarian options: Salads, wraps and special requests get you what you want as long as the establishment isn't too busy.”

“Bluenose Gopher is an oasis of fun. There is art on the wall and cool old timey stuff to see while you enjoy a beverage. The place has a small stage used to bring in live music, host open mics and even allows karaoke. A fire pit in the outdoor seating gives a cool feel as you overlook the Minnesota River. Also the big warm pretzels pair nicely with the local offerings of in state breweries. Good people and memorable experiences keeps me coming back.”

“Do yourself a favor and buy a little bit of everything. This was by far the best donut I have ever eaten! So many creative options to choose from. We also got a loaf of bread that was soft as clouds, and delectable! The staff was so friendly toward us as well! Please, do yourself a favor and stop in!”

“We just went through the drivethru on our long drive home after the exhausting holiday weekend. The woman that spoke to us through the speaker as we ordered, and then again at the window, was pleasant, funny, helpful, and kind! Michelle was the name on her name tag. Kudos Michelle! You are clearly fantastic at customer service! And kudos to the employer for having great staff!”

“Currently work at this subway, my manager has done nothing but accommodate me, my personal scheduling needs and support me and being in recovery completely 100% because of her being so understanding. I’m allowed to attend 3 days aweek outpatient, 3 therapy appointments a week. Plus schedules me through the week that allows me to make 4/6 meeting a week. Thanks to Lynn I’m able to work a full 30+ hour week and address my person/mental issues.”

“We had a great time at Lumpy’s tonight. Wonderful friendly waitress. Good drinks and popcorn. We had fun pulling pull tabs and getting in on the meat raffle. Enjoyed delicious perfectly done steaks from Budger’s with their hash browns that are fantastic. Way to work together to deal with the Covid situation. We will be back!”

“We were curious why there were so few cars parked there and read reviews however because we moved back to the area we wanted to evaluate our selves.We had an excellent table overlooking the Minnesota river.nice music playing and Eddie isn’t waitress. We never waited for anything. The table of four agreed salads were fresh and entrees were very good. The cheezy hash browns with onions was a table favorite. All and all good service and good food. Total time 1 hour 15 minutes. We will definitely go again.”
