Our waiter was Wonderful! The popovers were Way over baked The cheese curds were over fried The prime rib roll appetizer was Great! The burger was okay The chicken Alfredo was fine The walleye was decent

Our waitress was a sweetheart but the food was terrible for most of it.
The chips and cheese: $9 the cheese is what I know as movie theater cheese. It’s not really meant for dipping chips.
The salad bar: $8 it was fine but the ranch tasted like a light ranch.
The wings: $10 my son loved them. We got the buffalo. I didnt like them , had a more sweet taste than buffalo wings
The corn dog meal: $10 very huge for what they said would be a kids meal.
The chicken strips: $9 also very huge and came with six large strips. Was not a fan of the chips.
The new York strip steak: $20( on sale) was very fatty and no seasoning. Was under cooked what husband asked for. Was on special and not a good cut of meat.
The sirloin: $27 no seasoning. 1st one Was way over cooked and super dry. I asked for a new one. 2nd one was also over cooked but not as much and a little juicer.
The bake potatoes: were delicious
The beans: were delicious
I know they were short staffed but i had to ask for refills. It was not really busy until half way through our meal.
We had a fantastic experience today thanks to our wonderful server John, a student currently here with an exchange program from Nigeria. We sat outside and were greeted quickly. He was very charismatic and knowledgeable about the menu items and bar drinks/beers they have. My friend I was with absolutely devoured his burger and loved his food. My order was okay. I'm a vegetarian so I didn't have many options to begin with but that was okay. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and I ordered a quesadilla. The onion rings were more greasy than I'm used to at other places and the quesadilla had an over abundance of cheese in it, it was just way too much. Unbelievable and he inhaled it within seconds it seemed like. My food was so so but it wasn't terrible it was just a little more than what I was expecting and I didn't mention it to John because I could see it was beginning to get quite busy inside so I didn't want to burden the staff with the feedback. Thanks to the quality service we received from our server though and how much my friend loved his burger (he must have brought it up at least 5 times if not more on the drive back to Brainerd) I would definitely recommend this place and give it 5 stars.
Vegetarian options: Options for vegetarians at this place are pretty limited. There's quite a bit of appetizers and fried food which is to be expected if you're vegetarian at most places. However they do offer a salad bar. I did not get the salad bar as an option, I will however be getting a salad from their salad bar next time.

Was looking forward to the salad bar they usually have but said it was too slow to make it even though the place was packed!! Disappointed Menu is really small too

The French dip sandwich was good, but the au jus had no flavor. The Caesar salad, on the other hand, was very disappointing. It was iceberg lettuce, Caesar dressing, and few sprinkles of Parmesan cheese. The staff were all friendly.

Our waitress was great! Service at other tables seemed a little slow with other servers but ours was great! My family all said their food was good but mine was excellent. We went on Wednesday steak night and I upgraded for the red potatoes and mushrooms/onions on the steak. So good!
Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and being that they do fish fillets and steaks, there was plenty of options for me to feel happy!
