“Anxious to try the apple butter, strawberry rhubarb butter, and campfire sauce I purchased. My daughters loved the garlic cheesy bread. I enjoyed the pizza and the chicken alfredo with mushrooms.”

“Amazing Place. Not sure if they were the owners but the couple behind the counter 10/10 Customer service. We had a whole conversation and even helped me find the beer I was looking for (while waiting for a pizza from happys next door). Got everything perfect and even bottled an extra can so I could get the 3 can discount. Did all of this and I had my ID ready with payment on the table when she brought back a glass. Left the 3 pack in the cooler until I was done amazing work! Don't think this place gets the attention they deserve. Come on in and have some samples and bring home 6 amazing beers for $30. That's 5 a beer no different than a normal beer at the bar.”

“We love this place for an always solid breakfast! Our kids beg us to go here on our cabin trips. A fun eclectic inside that you wouldn't know existed from the unassuming exterior. We have never had anything disappoint us. From the pancakes, eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, egg sandwich, the classic Riser meal... and my daughter says it's the best hot chocolate she's ever had!! Top notch service where the waiters care about their customers! Highly recommend!”

“Where do I start There’s a sign on the door: no minors allowed, didn’t think that meant my 3 month old…who wouldn’t cause a ruckus. Bartender didn’t stop us at the door to tell us, she waited until we sat down. She also asked “how long we were staying because there is a meat raffle and it gets busy…” very rudely as in leave soon. We mentioned we would stay for lunch and get out (if that’s ok if we stay with an infant who was sound asleep) she then said “well all we have is pizza so….” Yeah we’ve been waiting to try it but forget it. Defiantly not a welcoming lady unless your a regular apparently. But I guess we got a cheap beer”

“Phenomenal food, service, everything! I’m a massive Thai food lover and I’ve tried basically everything on their menu (haven’t tried sliced pork salad or the omelette. Sorry not sorry I’m obsessed with curry). Huge fan of their red and green curry!! The flavor is spot on and every bite is savory and explosive with flavor!! So happy they added cream cheese wontons to their menu because that is one of my go-to appetizer favorites. Pork wontons are another delicious option, as are the “Fan Favorite” Egg Rolls. Can’t say anything negative about appetizer non-mentions because I haven’t tried them, and I have no doubts they are absolutely delicious. Drunken noodles are legit to everywhere else I’ve enjoyed them, and the noodles are a true pappardelle style and on point. Another favorite is their Noodle Soup, a true Pho type soup which hits your soul and fills your heart on cold icky days. All I know, is that when I die, I want the Charng menu as my last meal!!Kob Kun Ka - grateful to have you, and the services you provide to this small community.”

“When I don’t feel like cooking, I call the Birchwood Char House. Food is always excellent, daily specials, mouth watering desserts, and the friendliest staff around!! Love Taco Tuesday and I never miss it due to needing my taco fix ;). Broasted chicken is finger licking delicious, and the prime rib special (I believe Saturdays) will have your tummy feeling like you won the lottery!”

“The atmosphere here is awesome and when they have live music it’s a great venue. Sitting around the boat and drinking a cocktail or two or an ice cold beer. Service is always great even with limited help these days. The food is excellent and comes from the restaurant next door. Excellent and fun and always entertaining at the Boathouse Bar!!”
